I just started learning to code this month. After working traditional job for years, I know it isn't for me. My intuition told me before that coding is for me but I ignored it. Now that I'm in my 30's, I know it's never too late to learn. And I could say that it fits to my personality too. I've been watching your videos, and you inspire me to keep going. Thank you 💚☺️
Just started learning c++ a few days ago for game development with unreal engine Started with blueprints for a while, but being 32 years old and on my 3rd crash course video, It's starting to get intimidating. I'm making alot of notes to make up for my old age, hopefully I dont give up
I started to code at 10th grade, I copied a cpp program that finds square of a number, i changed it to find the cube of a number. I filled with happiness after I saw the output. Never stopped after that Its been 6years, never gets bored even though it makes me tensed sometime
I started to learn to code because I wanted to be one of those cool hackers from the movies. I’m a scientist now and I use programming to benefit my professional and personal life. I love the challenge of obtaining a new skill, plus I have a boatload of benefits to my resume! Love the channel
I Really hope this video motivate me to code , Im an IT freshman in college and the college thrown 3 languages at me : c#, Java, python I'm really passionate about programming but before I entered college I didn't know how to write hello world so you could say, I have quite the pressure on me to survive wish everyone the best , fellow new coder.
I am a mechanical engineer. I learnt to code to automate single things with c# like batch converting and merging lots of files into PDFs because i wouldn't be able to use commercial products in my workplace coz they are expensive. Now i'm trying to create my own ERP on .Net Core for our welding fabrication manufacturing company. It's nowhere near commercial products but hey i'm making constant progress and learn a lot of new concepts about full stack web developement along the way. I am happy.
Installed Linux Ubuntu, to learn how it works. And it's such a productive OS, I also quit al social media and now I'm learning C and went from typing with two fingers very slow to touch-typing 80 wpm with ten fingers. Instead of scrolling through bs all day.
I wish these daily videos never stopped haha. I've found motivation in every single one of them, and the next thing I want to do after each video is keep learning. This content is original, it has a positive vibe. Thank you Kalle! I've turned on the TH-cam notifications for the first time ever.
Thanks for your videos! This is my second attempt at getting into programming, and having your videos show up on my feed has been a great inspiration to keep learning. I tried learning 6 years ago by trying to get a degree in Computer Science but decided to go in a different direction for a bit. I'm now finding a new joy for learning something new on my own, so thank you for sharing!
You inspire me , I'm overseas I don't speak English so well but when I m watching your videos you motivate me to code and learn because i have a dream to create an amazing app .
I am 14 and i started coding with 10 years with scratch. With 12 years i started programming in python and became addicted soon after. One day i saw a video from Dani and i decided to try game dev with unreal engine but i only tried that for three months and got back to python where i made 2 pyqt5 apps. Then in March i started learning web technologies and with the pandemic giving me a lot more time i managed to learn html, css and javascript and i made a tic tac toe app(best-tic-tac-toe-game.netlify.app/). Then i learned React, scss and typescript and i started making a big project with a friend. And now i am really really addicted! It is so fun! It is a shame i dont have too much time with school and stuff
I started in the 90s and it was a whole different world. I remember a conversation with a teacher about an idea which was basically github. The technology of the time made this an impossibility and I became disillusioned and went a different way for over 20 years. I regret the lost time from one perspective but We can only start where we are. I’ve been at uni for over a year now and enjoying the whole process.
Exactly. Leverage. Non-tech example: I spent $100 on a certification class to become a motorcycle instructor for my state BMV. Applied, got accepted, completed the course requirements and passed the exams. Now I’m a (seasonal) motorcycle instructor making $26/hr. One time fee of $100 and about three weeks of training nets me about $10,000-$12,000 per year part time, having fun. Thanks, Kalle, for the inspiration and guidance. The leverage is exactly what cued me in to learning to program. - Ben
I did not have any experience in programming, but I always dreamed of being an engineer of space rockets someday. I memorized the names of rockets and spacecraft and soon discovered that building any rocket needed to know how to program. I looked at the coding contents and suddenly I found myself among Code lines , I liked it very much, I think that the best thing about it is that every programmer begins his journey by typing "how to code" in Google, then he loves it and coding becomes a way to live for him in the future...
Very nice video and I appreciate how honest you were about why you decided to take that journey. I’m also learning to code in order to make a career change so that my job wouldn’t depend on location.
My character is a shadow of your own, I’m 16 and I’ve been growing up with technology, at 15 finding what I’m interested in was a blessing. It is nice knowing there is at least one other person who shares my interest and desire to work hard so that I don’t have to work hard 😂.
I really admire your method of inspiring other people even though some of us haven't even scratched the surface of the actual code process "still swimming on the brim i will get there fortunately. But all in all great work looking forward to fully explore the knowledge you decided to share with the rest of the world thank you very much.
Hi Kalle! In this video you said something that touched me. You said, that your interests switches very fast. For me, i can say, its the same. But i thought till that moment that this is a problem, that i cant do great things when im not focused on one thing etc. I am learning to code at the moment with more or less effort for the same reasons. Thank you, that you gave me the feeling, that is okay t o switch interests and go for a something like different life style. Yeah.. and the sell one hour thing is shit. Thats one of my 1 yt comments in a year.. so when its worth it to comment for me, your output was very valuable for me. Thanks alot and keep going!
That’s funny! At my old job I often slouched with my feed on the desk. Reading a comic or just listening to music. A new customer came in and for the tour and he asked my manager: “is that normal here? Shouldn’t he be chopping away on the keyboard?” My manager said: “I’m worried when Ray is hammering on the keyboard, because then something is seriously wrong. He automated all systems monitoring and alerting and even implemented proactive healing of systems, so we can serve 1000s of servers and 100s of customers with 25 people and do better than IBM can.” I hired a kid without papers when he said: “I’m really lazy and that’s a good thing, as I tend to automate things”. My manager laughed and looked at me and said: “we found you a mini-me! Let’s talk money!” 10 minutes later he was hired.
I love your intro and style. Keep it up!! I agree with you on all of these points. I'm a programmer myself and aside from using it to help people I love the ability to make useful things for myself as well
My first thought is to work with hardwares. Be a Computer Engineer but I noticed I have a visible weakness in there. So, I might pursue working with software, since web developing and web designing is the first one that was thought to me.

Learn java. System.out.print(“it’s not as hard as you think”);
We have don python, java and now css("it's not a programming language!" "too bad"):
