Bro Ewing, I will miss hearing you live. Thanks for all the records, tapes and Cd's I will always be hear you sing. Thanks Sis Ewing for all the songs you wrote and how they have blessed me and my family. What a treasure we were given and Heaven is enriched.
My dear Bro. Ewing, we're going to miss your gentle spirit and golden voice. Few voices could pierce to a man's soul like yours. Your singing and your wife's lyric writing raptured me each time I heard you sing. I'm enriched and a better man for having known you and have enjoyed your warm music for almost forty years. Who could forget the uplifting lyrics to "What's That I Hear?" and the encouraging words to "You're Gonna Make It"? Thank you for giving...
Saw Murrell Ewing sing He Saw Me on Gaither video....then this wonderful song, I'm Free.....I first saw him sing some 40 yrs ago when he would open the UPC Nat'l Conf singing, God Bless America. He is one of my favorites, I only wish I knew how to get a CD of him. May God continue to bless this anointed man of God!
ONE of THE BEST Gospel singers EVER!! Love you Bro Ewing...I Love singing your songs as well!! Thank You! LOVED your Preaching as well!! It was sooo great to have met you sooooo many years ago at Youth Camp down here in Florida!!
What a precious man. We will miss this kinda of music and worship when he's gone. This style of singing helped to build UPC and the church. If those of us who remember this way of worship do not step forward and sing, it will die and never return.
As along as we have the recordings music/ministry/preaching/teachings of this wonderful man of God, he will live on, We know he lives on spiritually. Kinda of neat he ended this journey on December 31st last day of 2010 and last day of decade and begin a new life enternal Jan 1st 2011 first day of the new year might as well say

There will never be music like this again.
Only one thing could describe Bro. Ewing's singing and preaching: the anointing of the Holy Ghost
