The IW engine has an issue with dark shadows. It just makes everything in it too dark so it's hard to see potential players hiding in them. It's the reason why a lot of maps and the lighting in them in the future MW games look more bright or don"t have direct sunlight, but rather cloudy skies.
My first PC was a 2080ti and it was my first time playing modern warfare back in 2019. Still playing it on 2023 on my 2nd PC with my 4090. I can’t stand the graphics on the newer one. I’m glad there’s still a lot players playing MW1.

Se fossero rimasti all'interno di iw, a quest'ora avremmo avuto probabilmente un Mw2 quasi allo stesso livello di mw19. Dico quasi perché dietro Mw19 ha avuto 5 anni di sviluppo.
MW19 ran on IW8 game engine, while MWII, MWIII and Warzone Mobile run on IW9 game engine which is developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Treyarch all together. IW9 is just looking bad but they needed an universal game engine that works also on mobile
this comparison helped a lot. i see what it is now thats tough between the two. mw3 although has differering colors and 'brightness' that makes textures pop and seperate easily... making it easy to see and differentiate mw2019 has detailed lighting rather than brightness, and it does carry it far... but everything else is dark themed to contrast with the lighting... so even if the lighting could help, its barely doing it and not for the sake of clarity, and the base darkness and added cloudiness just takes away your sight completely even if it looks more acceptable to the eye... it seems 2019 had particles and darkness just to make lighting a significant factor in the game, but not for the sake of gameplay, just visuals. so it happens to be the lighting around corners, in distance, or through structures helps to see people or other areas, but that wasnt its intention... mw3 doesnt have that lighting unfortunately, even despite its gameplay intended visuals, but those gameplay intended visuals for direct texture brightness and colors really helps to see your environment and players opposed to a muddled dark environment with particles everywhere... and just to follow suit they still unfortunately add particles but with less lighting, its what makes the comparison of clarity from distanced view or around objects, a real difficulty... if the clarity of mw3s texture was kept, but they enhanced the lighting of mw2019, but to be more gameplay helping orientated, and then reduced that crummy muddled dust particles and such... i think it would make for great game map experiences... and no overbearing artificial glaring sun please...
MW 19 looks so much better, but tbh its mostly that mw3 is in bright daylight that makes everything look grey and hard to see players, instead of the mw 19's sunset-looking light with more contrast. I would love them to bring back the mw 19 look, its probably the best COD ever, visually at least. If it wasn't for all explosives being OP as Sh*t in mw 19, it would for sure be the best COD imo.
Not to mention that all the mastery camos in mw3 except interstellar and borealis looks like sh*t. I know that damascus didnt feel like a top-tier mastery camo, but it still looked way better than gilded, forged, priceless, and the other zombie ones.
i dont know but mw3 look good texture wise i would say up to par as mw2019 hear me out yes mw3 looks good but i dont know just the lighting something about the lighting makes mw3 look just not as good a 2019 in certain places the graphics in mw3 look better than mw2019 but the lighting just makes it look not as good mw2019 vs mw3 looks like when you compare a game with ray tracing off vs on mw3 looks like when you have the brightness setting just bearly to high and start to to add a whiteness to the screen making things look discolor am i not wrong
MW looks more stylised and aesthetically interesting, but MW3 looks a lot closer to real life and has far better visibility. I think Black Ops 6 has a great mix of the two.
It’s not matter of settings. The old IW8 engine just rendered everything in a different and better way. If you put MW19 on low it will still look more appealing than MWIII on high.

One thing I prefer about MW 2019 is how the colours look richer. MW2 and now MW3 look too bland
That's a quick fix if your on pc
Mw2019 is FIRE. that game still goes so HARD
2019 looks better and actually gives the map justice to the original, the new map doesn’t even have rust on the pipes 😂
mw19 look like the most recent game
My biggest gripe with rust is that it’s not rusty anymore
MWIII looks like the mobile version of it

I prefer difficult to see enemy on a good looking map
They need to switch to a real engine but everybody is terrified of different gun mechanics even though MW2019 already changed it completely.
You see iw cant make mw19 and fix everything that is wrong in the game?
That's now an issue, that's called realistic lighting
They need to add more contrast to mw3. Can't see shit.
it's too bright it sucks

How can the 2019 one have such better textures? I refuse to believe they are the same devs.
They are not the same devs. I believe MW19 and MW2 were made by Infinity ward where as MW3 is being made by Sledgehammer games.

I don't think the beta included high resolution textures to save on file size, if they included high resolution textures the beta would of been ~60 GB

The light source in both the maps changes the lighting changes the shadows the glosy look of the metal is removed with matt finish
MW19 looks like a sequel to mw2 and mw3.
Exactly
that sky box of mw 2019 is amazing
MW2019 looks way better BUT having said that. The visibility is way better in MW3. But personally i'd still pick 2019.
this comparison helped a lot.

This is why I don’t care about MWIII. They want to sell us nostalgia yet the maps look nothing like they did in the OG MW2.
man did you see what they did with favela? man shiny colors around the map it looks awful
@@SethWill07like this is not a Remaster it doesn't run on MWR Engine
Please compare it with mw19 4k resolution set

MW has better colour grading and textures.
The only real difference is the lighting, which is an easy quick fix in the settings.
Shocker, IW better looking, sounding, animated.

Mw3 is washed out literally and metaphorically
At least you can actually see everything
@@kevinsteelflex7371nope, it's still trash. Take favela for example
@@vangezy6456 well i wont argue about favela. But if that had any of MW2019's lighting and darker shadows, it would be even more of camper's paradise.

How does a game for xbox one look better than a game made for next gen consoles?
im asking myself the same man
It's the colours. New games are too bland
If you are going to do this at least put the same settings in both games. MW2019 has motion blur while mw3 does not

Newer cods the gamma is washed out unless you play with hdr.
2019 much better
MW1 better
Yuuup
fps ?
A lot of new games are going for this washed out tone lately, wonder why

That's cus of the lighting and colors
