I feel incredibly bad for Forder... That may be the most rage inducing lost I can imagine XD Also, I finally downloaded Mechabellum. Won my first (and so far only) two games pretty convincingly. You're teaching is very, very helpful!
That first game, lol. Been on the receiving end of flanking hackers 2 times and done it myself a couple more, best result comes from setting some chaff in front of where you're flanking a couple of turns before the real assault, like crawlers or fangs, then when a card drop comes just make your move there with whatever units and tech that may be better suited for the job. Best counter is obviously air, Wraiths are a good option, Hackers on the flank looks like a meme 'til you find out you're not going to last 1 more round and you don't have enough credits and deployment slots to counter them.
Just shooting the idea your way in case you haven't thought of it; but this '2-unit' series can pretty much be fully viable in FFA. That is if you even like playing that game mode xD. It's just there's a whole lot more room for doing stuff outside of just the army composition that can get you wins in that mode, let alone the ai can't perfectly counter you.
You know that when you paradrop ground units like vulcan and rhino they do damage where they land? Probably not making sense to use this on the vulcan, but definitely on the Rhino you should have.
The rank 5 Crawlers with replicate was certainly an interesting choice by your opponent. Of course next round wraiths were dropped... Did you notive the arclights not killing the crawlers in one shot anymore without attack upgrade with similar levels ? Really slowed down the chaff clear. There are some interesting break points, especially with fortified specialist and Cost control and Arclights/Crawlers early on.
@@WhoopedGG Fire only does 350 damage a second Iirc, lvl 5 crawlers can get through fire no problem if there isnt absolutely shittons of it everywhere.

That's a good idea. I haven't thought of doing that. I am terrible at FFA though haha.

yeah, level five Crawlers can be devastating. At that point fire is pretty much needed.

@@IIIJG52 I think it pretty much has to be Vulcan + Incendiary if they have quite a bit. Or Rhino with Whirlwind 🤣
