I think Everton are in the region of a breach that results in a fine rather than a points deduction. They'd rather eat that than sell for less than they think they can get. I wouldn't pay more than £30m for him either way.
The wages being reported are irresponsible. We are repeating the mistakes of the past. At his age assuming we needed to sell him that wage will be prohibitive and if it was higher to should be as a result of performances warranting that.

Branthwait right now is a squad filler type player, with potential to be a starter, who has a good amount of potential to improve over the lenghth of the contract, paying over 45/50 would be a shame but not crazy like what the past regime has paid for players, im hopefull about this deal to be honest, need another one like a todibo or a yoro though, cant just be branthwait in my opinion

although i dont fancy Branthwaite not that i have seen him play and dont rate him but because of the fear of being sold another overrated overpriced English player. But i can understand why INEOS is targeting him rather than Yoro, most continental players dream of playing for Real Madrid and the moment their is slight hint of them interested they are going there, even if they have to wait a season to get transferred or even sit on their bench. In Yoro’s case Madrid are interested and he either now or in future would make attempt to go regardless of who he is playing for and how sucrose the team is. Its not the same with English players, United, Liverpool, Arsenal are still a big pull for them. Thats why i would think INEOS are going more all out for Branthwaite 1st if the manage to get Yoro next then great else they wld switch to Nice for Todibo. As far as fee for Branthwaite is wld look at 40m fixed+Lindelof (if they want Maguire then reduce the fee to 30m)+10m super tough add ons based on success in PL and Europe. I would look at similar structure for Neves as well 70m fixed+20 in add ons based on success and see if they are interested in loaning Antony with majority salary covered by United and if he does well may be sell him to Benfica next summer.

Going for him before June 30th hoping to force Everton's hand due to PSR. If no deal by July 1st, we're likely to move to next target.
