I'm a survivor of suicidal depression and anxiety, and I must say I'm so proud of Robin Lehner for taking that big first step of asking for help, and then following through with all the HARD work it takes to make life liveable again. Thank you, Robin, for helping to end the stigma around mental illness!
As long as the stigma remains, people who are suffering will feel there's shame attached to reaching out for help, and we will continue to lose one million people worldwide to suicide. Let's end the stigma now by accepting those of us who simply have an illness, by showing compassion towards those who suffer from mental illness, and by being there for each other whenever possible.
Robin Lehner, you freakin' ROCK, brother!!

Before last season I didnt think Trotz would make any difference for the Isles. Thought Lehner was a sieve and the Isles would finish way down in the Eastern Conference. I was toally wrong on both. Shows what a good head coach can do for a team and a player can always bounce back with a change of scenery.
Good on Trotz and good on Lehner.

I remember my mentally idiotic quick judgement of ignorance time and time again during Mr. Lehner's days in Buffalo. Being part of the harsh and cruel "fanbase" who couldn't come close to the play career of him but thinking he sucks or is some joke of a human being. End the stigma indeed; starts with us all, but, maybe more us than you, Robin. With that, and with the inspiration you bring for the true fans; the kids, I credit you for being a true superhero.

To be honest the medication helps but listening to stories and leaning on other people who struggle with mental health or even people who have great advice helps so much better than anything else. Aiden that is such a sweeping statement and it's utter nonsense. I didn't boo Kevin Durant. I was actually cheering for them and the Golden State Warriors against the Toronto Raptors. And I'm from the Toronto area.
