Traditionally, he would have chosen to mock Fubara, who "defeated" him at the governorship polls, but instead, he is sympathetic with both Fubara and the state of Rivers. Presentation of the Budget is not the issue but the position of the illegitimate 27 ex-members of Assambly whom the Constitution has lawfully vacated their seats by virtue of their myopic decision to defected to APC while seating in the mandate of PDP. This defection happened openly on the floor of the Chamber on live TV on the watchful eyes of Nigerians, covered by many media agencies. They also go further to backed it up with signed Affidavit. But it seemed that Judiciary is trying to prove to Nigeria that it will be the instrument used to destroy her

Asiwaju is a political strategist ask yourself why did Asiwaju not retire to Senate or accept ministerial appointment after serving his term as a governor. The answer is the reason why he is able to control the party machinery in the state and see to it that they didn't loose the local election. I'm happy that Mr Cole have said that the assembly members are in apc, which that issue is yet to be settled. There is already a supreme court judgement on the case of defection in the case of ondo. So until the supreme court decide this case nothing will bring back the assembly members. Mr Cole also put politics by saying there is no development in rivers state is a lie. Finally seun, tomorrow you bring other members of divergent views to your programme.
Gov Fubara is now fighting the law, and the truth is that he can't win it. He lambasted the president, the police IG, the judges, and wike himself. He is surely in a big box. Negotiation is his only way out. Good luck to him.

The bone of contention here is, can you run a state without a valid house if assembly? the answer is no. (b) Corruption. (c) Abuse of office or power, etc. And that such a person is not a fit and proper person to hold the office of Governor or Deputy Governor.
