Hi Reggy, those car badges were off the Daf 66 until 1976 and the last 3 years of production Daf cars were taken over by Volvo and were badge as Volvo 66 and made in The Netherlands. The 66 had a CVT variomatic and if the car can do 80 mph forwards and it can do 80 mph backwards front and reverse gears are the same ratio.
It's like going back nearly 50 years ago in my Taids shed in Coedpoeth, looking through his wooden boxes of rust nuts and bolts, nails, screws, washers metal plates hours of fun in his shed as a youngster, it was my Taid to this day got me hooked on sheds, shed stuff and this is why I enjoy my workshop. I've still got a lot of these sort of items in my workshop today from old nuts and bolts to old brown bakelite 5 amp round pin plugs and sockets. After going threw my Taids shed back to the house and my Nain would make me hot Oxo and bread, yummmy!!..
My be put that Triumph spanner to Rob's challange.......... Take care
