We'd love to have you in TN. Zero state income tax, relatively low property taxes and a red state. Knoxville, Chattanooga or Nashville areas are great. Many riding areas near Knoxville in the foothills of the Smokies.
Zero income tax, but sales tax is relatively higher than other states.
The riding in TN sucks. Nothing but crap red clay.
TN won't be red for long. They are woke in there own way. The inbred folks from TN do not like the personalities from the northern rust belt area. They do not know how to handle direct confrontation.
Lived there for 2 years and so glad I moved back to Michigan where you can actually tell people what you think straight to their face.
TN is woke in their own way. Their biggest city is super liberal with all the fake conservative country singers. TN will likely end up just like Michigan if Trump doesn't get back into office. And boy I hope I'm wrong.
Don't go to TN. It sucks.
East TN sucks man.
Not sure exactly what it is about east TN. But I lived there for 2 years and never met more 2-faced people in my life.
There is an odd behavior down there where if you do not set aside you schedule for the random bs social conversation with a stranger, or if you say something even slightly confrontational, the TN folks don't confront it, they say bless your heart then talk shit when you're not around.
Lived there for 2 years. While living there I traveled for work to GA, TX, NC, SC, IN and MI. This behavior seemed to only reveal itself in TN and SC.
The riding in TN sucks too. Nothing but red clay and red mud everywhere. The climate is the same as Vietnam. So if you like a humid jungle, it's all you.
The riding in East TN is nothing but riding parks that are not maintained and are all rutted up from hilly billy sxs parties. It's a joke.
TN sucks man.

Annual termite prevention, annual fire brigade "donations"... There are so many.

Come up to MI Mike! We have the best atv riding trails system in the country and many other MX tracks that run quads too.
Yeah, we are a blue state, and many of us vote red, but TN is slowly turning blue in its own woke ways.... Nashville.... So who knows what state will be red or blue in 10 years.

Being from Allentown pa and living there for 18 years and finally moving to wv 4 years ago I’ve never been in a more beautiful place there’s so many trails to ride and such amazing scenery and heck I work for Compton metals and powdercoat for a living so if you decide to move here I’ll hook you up lol much love keep up the great work

I’m from North Carolina and it’s a beautiful state lots of good riding options and overall a good state. I’ve heard Virginia taxes can be a little crazy haven’t looked into it but it would be a good thing to consider when deciding, best of luck to you!

Brotha! Rowan county North Carolina moved here from Massachusetts a year ago. Best decision I have ever made. A lot of land around where I am. And it’s in the heart of racing country. 🤘🏼

First off goodluck with the property quest 2nd those graphics came sick and I’m so stoked you went with the 400 on the rear def needed that nostalgia and 3rd you will def need that space for the car my pops is a mechanic and he’s like you everything organized and in certain places done certain ways so knowing that def get the garage built your way brother
Michael I can’t speak for many places but I recently moved from NY to NC and it has been an awesome change. I am close to the city and there aren’t a ton of places to ride, especially the Gncc type of riding I’m used to. But out towards the mountains I hear things are a lot different. I am also waiting for the election to start looking for a place with land out that way. Good luck to you
Mike would love for you to move to middle Tennessee. There has been several creators move here in the last several years. There is a lot going on, property always seems to go up in value here . The summers are amazing , winters not bad .
Wv has a ton of riding places Hatfield McCoy trails n Sanderson trails u can ride for days n never see the same trail twice

WV bro! Tons of riding area here. Also people aren't stuck up here. People are friendly and have common sense still. If they see you in a quad or bike, you'll get a wave instead of a police report.

West Virginia has pretty mild winters, 3 snows a year max. Great landscape for riding and plenty of properties for sale.
Thanks for the update Mike! Unless you find the perfect place I would wait until after the election because you never know what might change. Costs with purchasing land/home may also change with the recent NAR settlement that could reduce commissions, thus the selling price. I hear you on the cold weather! I’m also in the Philly area (Bucks County) and I’m starting to get really tired of the cold with no snow and this cold weather that has been dragging on. If it’s gonna be cold, give me snow to play around in. As always, keep it up dude!
I’m going through the same thing right now Mike , everything I find 7 plus where I can build a garage and a 3k sqft home for my family is 1.5 at minimum , it’s just a lot and real estate isn’t dropping at the moment . I own a junk removal company and need a garage for my trucks so as well it’s a business for me. Can’t wait to see the vette done bro!

Moved from Kansas to southwest Virginia 5 years ago, and it has been amazing. The mountains are beautiful here, tons of trails for off-road adventures. I do miss being close to Little Sahara and going down there nearly every other weekend from spring to fall. I ride a Harley now and there is too many awesome roads to hit on that thing if you enjoy road bikes as well. West Virginia might have more to offer for trail riding, but it is not far. Both do still get cold in the winter, but down here is nothing like Pennsylvania! As for the market right now and when to buy, I have no clue, but I will say if you find a good deal that you're comfortable with then go for it! No one can predict the future.
Living in central Pa I get what you’re saying. The winters here suck. Would love to move down south but I love this area besides the winters and family is getting older and don’t want to be away that much from them. Maybe when my wife and I get older

Some of the best advice I’ve ever been given is the real estate market never goes down. The best youll get is stagnant prices. We are pulling the trigger at the end of this month

MS, you have a life where you can live wherever you want to. I pulled up everything sold my paid for home after my wife died from cancer.
I lived in South Alabama and moved to northern Wisconsin, yeah right. But bought 40 acres and a new cabin / home.
I loved it could buy all that for what I had in Alabama in a subdivision.
It was just me tho.
I always wanted to own land and like you do my own thing, I did it but after 2 yrs a father passing away, and my mom still in Alabama alone I felt guilty of moving away and came back don't miss the snow, but the land, freedom I do..
Get an outdoor car capsule for the c6 and there you go. They start in the 900s and go all the way up to 4k for a fancy one but then you have another garage bay
Here's a tip for you Mike see if you can find a short block or long block for that car if you know what I'm referring to and then you can go from there with all the other parts outside the internal parts of the engine

Bring your whole operation down here to NC. I do the same thing with powersports on the side. Got a 5 out of 5 on marketplace from fixing and selling them. Would love to have you in the state, we could do some business together. Also a lot of places to ride down here.
Man I’m pretty sure I am around the same age as you and I was looking for a place to buy and everything shot up so I moved back in my parents and am waiting till the real estate goes back down to buy and build. I live in N.C. and man it’s wide open here and everything is so much cheaper here and the land taxes are a quarter of y’all’s up there!

Could always rent u smaller shop space i did that for yrs before i was able to purchase a home with enough land to put up a building of course now working in my own garage is amazing but the time i spent renting a 4 bay shop location wasnt horrible either

So hearing from some other business owners in the Pittsburgh area... they are advising to move out of PA. Virginia seems to be the go to. Not a super far drive when it comes to visiting family.
Down south is definitely a good move but if you’re trying to stay close to the family try looking in south jersey for some land that’s where I’m at now I’m originally from Philadelphia

I went to school and lived in the Burbs of Philly, the real estate can get pretty insane in some areas! I hear you on that but building your dream garage is something that resonates with me. Definitely a goal of mines too and the Vette looks like nightmare fuel. I always seen the channel main channel as a moto/quad kind of channel but I'm sure you'll get the Vette up and running again and we'll be here for it!

Western PA or one of the WV panhandles are about 5-6 hrs. drive from where you live now. You would be an easy drive to Philly area and an easy drive to trails like the Hatfield McCoy system and warmer weather in the South. Build a barndominium. Put a double post lift in it for working on cars. Look for at least 40 acres, when you're building trails, 10 acres would seem small fast. Maybe get a used mini excavator or cheap Chinese one for building your own moto track.
I really think you hiring an editor/assistant with work would probably free you up a lot to just focus on the main work if you didnt have to edit videos.
I live in the Tri Cities Washington area, theres 3 sand dunes/trail areas less than 45 mins away and a total of like 5 or 6 more about 6 hours away.
Winters are a bit cold but our springs are warm. hitting 70 degrees in march sometimes!
Walla Walla area is good too, lots of dirt road with side trails up there too

Bc Canada gets cold but depending on waer you go you can get snow for a week or a month and wear you go also can change how much it rains
Wv is just as cold and just as if not more snow depending on where at in wv, North Carolina would be the highest north you would want to be to get away from the “cold”. Beacuse it still gets pretty cold in nc too at points

I know your home is there but man, you should REALLY check out land around here. I don’t know how much you’re looking to spend but there is 180+ acres for $450k, and there are a few houses with separate shops sitting on 30+ acres for $350k-$450k. Also, you’d be 20-30 minutes from Turkey Bay OHV park which is 2,500 acres. I’m like 9 hours I think from Philly. I live near Clarksville TN, I would take a look around Dover TN. It’s centrally located from many places in this side of the Mississippi River as well. There are also many shops locally for many different aspects of what you do.

I have about the same amount of work space and it feels too small for a atv i couldn't imagine trying to work on a car in a space that small.
