Days are long, but there were pit stops for opportunities to eat especially given we did 3 bullet trains we had time while waiting- I think the first day was the longest between opportunities to grab something to eat. At night some of the hotels had restaurants or places to eat near by. I didn’t really eat at night ( I was sick for some of it & I just ate the snacks that I’d purchased) - Eat up at breakfast- which is included. You definitely don’t starve. Have fun on your trip

You don’t opt out of the commercial visits but can wait outside ( I skipped right through the silk factory- but did have to wait outside in the heat ) Skipping tours are possible but sometimes you have to wait ( free time to yourself while others participate) Others we leave from the hotel so those ones are better. And the others everyone joined in. I think there was 1 that may have posed an issue but I think the tour leader talked them into it. And I didn’t do the night cruise in Shanghai ( I’d run out of cash & you can’t use a card to pay) I just walked down to the riverside for about 45 mins while they did the 1 hour cruise ( a little bit of a walk around the boat cruise terminal but it is accessible)

Geeze this part of the tour maybe I pay no attention as most times I fill up on the daily breakfast ( but I was a little under the weather so didn’t really eat at dinner time ) in saying that some of the hotels had restaurants and I think there were some places recommended on other days but I’m not a big dinner eater- normally just a snack buyer during the day & if I’m hungry eat snacks.
We are going in October on the same deal. You mentioned in the other video about the breakfasts but how did you go with the Lunches/nighttime meals ? did you generally eat at the hotel or did you venture out to local restaurants ( assuming they were open when you got back !! )
Hi, on some days they took you to places that included lunch/or they stopped where you could buy something. Definitely bring lots of yuan or A$2,000 to cover the optional tours & gratuities Flight arrived after midnight & got to hotel at 3am, most of the hotels are far away from downtown Definitely need a day to recover from flight before tour Two bullet train rides plus a domestic flight took up a lot of the time! Cheap package but a lot of hidden costs Loved the Golden Mask & ERA shows & we met some lovely people in our group

And yes I kinda ran out of money but had enough to scrap by no spending & missed the last tour - it’s kinda a tour where you get a real fast paced glimpse of China ( and for me it will be my first & only visit- a great bargain but plenty more travel destinations on my list to tick off so no second visit to China for )

We did all because we knew we won’t be coming back to China as we have other places on our bucket lists🤞 Too much cramped in 10days plus we felt the package should give us a free day to recover from flight especially arriving so late into the night I probably wouldn’t recommend any package deals unless you get at least 2 days in each stop We’d rather stayed on in Xian than go to Zhengzhou A lot of wasted time travelling between cities It was only after watching your video we budgeted abit more to cover the extras🤭

Hi Hannah, we didn’t have that option. The tour took us to the less touristy spot Juyong Pass so didn’t have a cable.
Come to China, The first thing is eat, Delicious food, second the delicious foods, third High speed railway and maglev train.
