I’m like Bryan. I’m a person who likes to get things done and make fast decisions..... sometimes which ends up in bad endings. God chastised me about this and I’m now learning to lean on God and not my own understanding.....: Thanks for sharing this. Very relatable

This is so healthy, it is healing for the soul. Two people that trust each other so well that they are humble enough to acknowledge their wrongs. Understand it's perfectly okay to fall out as long as it is quickly noticed and efforts are made to reconcile before things get worse. This is love. All the best to your beautiful family ✝️💕

You guys continue to inspire me! My hardest time in single hood was walking this Christian life not being or feeling whole even as a leader within the church and having community and in love with Jesus I felt like I was missing something. I wanted to be married and although I wasn’t thirsty and throwing myself at men I felt incomplete in my desire to be married and was not content. Till about 4 years ago. After 14years of walking in purity I fell to sin with a toxic person and it was a repetitious thing that drowned me in shame guilt and condemnation since it was my kids father after all those years of seeking healing and stuff I fell. Thank goodness for grace and mercy and my church family that loved me so well and walked me through breaking that soul tie and healing here I stand confident although there are moments I question GOD like where he at 😂….. I’m still learning to love myself first and be completely confident in my single lice

What you are describing is real life, you guys give us little snippets of the smiley parts of your life and we don't want to think about how life can deal you pot holes, and lemons. But thanks for sharing I know it's not easy to share the personal part of your life God bless you and your family ❤️

Guys thank y’all for being so transparent! As a person who is going through a season of learning to be transparent and trusting the guy I’m dating. I can honestly say watching this, I felt in my heart that I knew this wasn’t easy to share, but that you guys must really feel that it’s worth it to let strangers in so that they can be encouraged.
Lexi, as a woman who desires to be a wife someday I can honestly say I am so inspired by how you loved and covered your husband. I hear women talk all the time about covering their man through tough times, and I feel you did just that and did it phenomenally. Thank you also Bryan for showing us women that a man can own up and be vulnerable and still be strong. I think sometimes we women don’t think that we can have both in a man, but you have shown us that with God all things are possible.
My hardest season that I’ve been to ever been through I can’t really think of one. I think of something, then something else pops in my head. I will say something that is hard right now is just trusting my heart and the things I feel insecure about or even just embarrassed about with someone else. Thank the Lord he’s blessed me with an amazing man who shows me time and time again that he can be trusted and is the worth the hard, but that’s the hardest thing right now.
Thanks again for sharing and I will definitely be praying for you guys!

Thank you guys for sharing this. This is a testimony to help married people, but also for si gel people.
One of the biggest issues we face as humans is to lean on our own understanding! That’s why the Word says “trust in the LORD with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Thanks for sharing this shortcoming and how the Lord will show us ourselves, yet STILL provide for and cover His children!
Praying you all have the strength to forgive that company but also I pray they aren’t able to enjoy the money they took from you all. God bless you guys and Aza! ✝️🙏🏽☝🏽

This is a real conversation. I wish I had these kind of conversations with my spouse before we got to divorce. We all struggle with leaning on our own understanding especially when things are going well, I struggle with that. Thanks for sharing. I am in HR and use a tool to get understanding and improve communication based on behavioral styles, there is a free version its Extended DISC..based on what you describe i think Brian is an I and Lee is a C or S. It gives practical tips how to understand how to styles and what do in different scenarios.

Learning to build a good conversation around something that is near and dear is hard especially when there is a lot of fear and conflict. Avoiding and delaying that conversation is even more difficult because we have to listen actively to others. Listening to that inner voice is key so long as you don't allow those inner voices to drown you out, that's when the conversation goes null and void.

Always 👏 listen 👏 to 👏 a woman's 👏 intuition! I don't care if a contractor has worked on 100 projects. You have to watch them like a hawk and set up milestone payments and deposits. They don't work, they don't eat. I've yet to meet a contractor or tradesmen that did not cut corners. How frustrating that Brian did not understand this! A man's unchecked ego is always costly. And she's so right, nothing but prayer will check that resentment that is inevitable in a situation that is largely preventable. Hopefully you've both learned how to be better planners. Lolol

I admire you both all the more, for what you've been through. God, being all omnipotent, goes without saying, but the love you have for Him and for each other, and built a foundation, as Bryan stated, way back at the beginning, has led to your successful navigation through that troubling season. Is it any wonder that such seasons occur, when you can survive it and be stronger, closer, more in love than before. Coming through adversity reveals wondrous blessings. So be blessed, my dear friends, be well, be safe. Thank you so much for sharing this story with us. We too, need to know this for our own seasons of trials and tribulations. May the Lord continue to bless us all.🙏🏼💞🤗💞🙏🏼

SO what's hard or WHAT CAN be CHALLENGING -- Being a Black woman I never really ever emphasized myself surrounding a committed relationship. When I was a little girl I always "needed" or "wanted" a boyfriend. My CAREER My CAREER My CAREER that's my meaning in life, I mean if you looked up the " Next Black Barbara Walters " it should be me next to Oprah and all the GREATS. 20 years now passed those DREAMS are distilled, and all I can think about-- is a being in a Relationship--Im dating with strong AWARENESS and it time to heal those WRETCHED 20rys of heartache. The "HEADER" made me know YALL CAN get through anything, I WANT TO MAKE A NOTE: Lexi your SO lucky to have Brian to think of you unselfishly during and before the process of having that baby , ME??? not so lucky BUT IM PRAYING FOR new beginnings and Healing for everybody-- GOOD CONTENT and this Family is LOVED.

Thank you for being so transparent. A lot of times “TH-cam” couples do not want to share the bad times in their relationship. However, you guys opening up allows others to take away vital information that they can apply to their lives. So again thank you for being so open and transparent. ♥️
One of the challenging situations I’ve been dealing with is with college, particularly my schools nursing program. I’ve known for years what I wanted to do in life. The struggle with my school has been ongoing. There has been nights I just stayed up and cried because I felt like everything wasn’t going the way I planned it or I just wanted to give up. I can honestly say that I felt abandoned by God during some points because of the anger and heartache that came with the situation. However during those midnight crying sessions through music I would feel His presence letting me know everything would be alright. The first time around I didn’t get in and now I’m waiting for the decision for this time around. I know God does things in His own timing and when He sees fit to open the door to the next part of my education I will be willing and ready to step through the door.
    ♥️ love y’all

11:25 "not letting resentment take root" Yes!! So proud of you Lexi. And that can only be achieved by the Holy Spirit and communication. 11:52 please note this part. The more hurdles you overcame, the stronger you two became. As you overcame one hurdle, another appeared and you overcame that too. Back to back tests. That was a marathon/sprint of trials. Overcoming those is mega victory. Produces a kingdom marriage that is now highly valuable.

And all the things you guys did to overcome that season are truly things every Christian should apply to every area of their life including work, school, and ministry. Communication, therapy, forgiveness, renewing our mindsets. Well said and thank you for being transparent you guys give me hope for my future husband (wherever the heck he is 😂).

Awe 😍😘 Its the transparency for me. Love you guys, not many people talk, love how you both let it out which in turn I'm sure will help you both. I'm a talker as well, its what attracted myself to your channel. Love this video also..... more content like this well (storytime) anyway. 🤗😍

I enjoy you two as a couple. It's so important, especially in marriage, to work through the hard times while continuing to have respect for each other and also taking accountability for your actions. I don't know you but I am proud of you and how you represent marriage as part of the body of Christ.

Thank you for this real life segment.
Our marriage is almost at the 30 year anniversary mark.
Your honesty reminds us that we need to always pray and not become self sufficient.
    This is ministry.
Thank you very much, to both of you.

Thanks for your vulnerability. Sharing the difficult things puts viewers into perspective that things may not always be peachy, but always returning to the heart of God will always get us through difficult processes. Remain rooted in Christ, praying for you.
