@@HD-qh6ku Thanks. As yet, there are no plans to adapt either PotBA or the final book into audiobooks; there're very energy- and time-consuming to produce, and my energies are needed elsewhere! But who knows what the futrue holds....

Reading the novel now, I’ve gotten to an entire chapter dedicated to such a past game reference and boy does it sound promising. It’s after Castle Kreigler from the Lost Dominion game (partially based on Murti’s version, not the TRLE). It brings to light something about this past location I never considered until now, after an almost throwaway reference to it in the previous book’s Hall of Seasons chapters.
12:30 Jenni’s not kidding. I won’t spoil but I’ll give you a hint: Rouzic in AOD, especially Jenni’s sequel is basically Moriarty from the Young Sherlock Holmes movie, except he’s Czech, not Egyptian. For the kids in the audience born past 2005, he’s also like Sander Cohen if he wasn’t a large ham.

This AOD month makes me appreciate this game a lot more :) The dark atmosphere was also my first impression, it was dark but not depressing like Kairo...more like a big thriller with a tomb Raider, almost gothic like and crime touch :) The rain in the Backstreets with the lights and music was amazing. I can unterstand that it can be a great free feeling to work on something alone, nice that she is doing her thing, but also that she works with references :) This artefact Collector from the cabal is nightmare fuel! Truly a Kurator Of Doom :o Morgau seems to be like an interesting anti-hero or a Rival. :o Father Patrick ❤ I'm one of the few people who did enjoy the first and third level of chronicles teen levels :) and the Priest was truly cool! Great Idea to bring back some people of Laras Past :) 19:00 great reading, I got goosebumbs 💙 Well it makes sense: Lara is by no means free of the crimes the police things she did. She might has revenged her Mentor and saved the world (again) but she has lost everything and the enemies are still waiting, looking forward how this will be handeld in the novels, since Lara has a big darkness to carry and to find a way out of it, that began when she almost died in trIV. Karel seems to be like Natla: you did destroy my monster producing pyramied? There are other ways do doom the world xD...sounds dangerous that he did survive the Beam through his chest :o You can tell like with Murty how much Jenni is enjoying her work, this research details and working first on the world around is amazing. Its great to hear that Lara will have character development with highs and downs in those novels, amazing how Jenni feels about Laras personal journey. Also happy to hear how you all support each other with your projects :o its important to have people and friends around one to help with such ideas or worries with it :) Amazing Podcast again, thank you so much!
I was born in 1995 so I was just a bit too young to enjoy the original titles, but I watched my mom play through 1,2,3,4 AND 5. We watched the movies together and Angel of Darkness was the first one I really tried to play. The furthest I ever got was Bouchard's Hideout but when the remasters come out next month on Steam I -WILL- beat AOD!
I love both of your excitement! This is gonna be so fun ("fun" being a relative term, especially with characters like Rouzic :D ). Also I wonder if Gunderson's personality will be explored in relation to Ullsgarth, I'd love to see the rivalry! And the interactions between Kurtis and Morgau will sure be interesting judging by the snippet, if he trusted her so readily. Which also means that she wasn't immediately hostile? Or not all the time considering Lara's mention of havign been overpowered? That's really cool because as much fun as fights are, more different kinds of interactions bring out more sides of the characters too! I'm very characters-and-interactions focused person, if it wasn't already clear :D Also yes, Murti inspired many of us I think, and I hope Jenni's book will bring even more inspiration to other people. Imagine if the TR fandom actually experienced a fanfic boom after its release👀
I'd like to see a lego tomb raider compilation of the CORE era. That cancelled proposal of a Indy and Lara cross over in Lego would have been funny imo but Lucas Arts were salty at CORE for 'stealing their idea' so TT didn't make that cross over.
I think whinston sets up all lara's adventures with actors/remote controle animals and special effects with lara having blank bullets. To keep her busy and sane because he cares bout her like a daughter. Or he's just psychotic lol

in my opinion TRAOD was the best Tomb Raider game, such a shame they didn’t make it a trilogy as originally planned 😢
