On 3rd or 4th and 1 or inches you can also just keep a mediocre 240+lb FB on the roster for the FB dives out of the goal line formation and a few other 2 back formations. Can also use the FB in the Heavy set option and just dive him up the middle. Generally works 90+% of the time.
I haven't watched the video yet. I'm at work. Idk about simulation but with user play I would go balanced but lean to the power back side. I love a speedy power back... I don't do a lot of juking and spinning so I love the break tackle and stiff arm.... 👍
Have agile linemen, elusive backs which already come with high trucking and break tackle ratings (fast Hybrids), spam Trap plays. Win :) In 21, 22, 23... it never changes. Because CPU Linebackers still don't close the gaps...
It’s far easier to run your back up the middle and use strength to always gain a few extra yards. Having a finesse back, you have to hit the hole exactly right or else someone will just reach out of a block and tackle you.
If you start a mediocre HB at the starter they will evolve extremely fast, I’ve developed a rookie WR and HB without any traits at 60+ ovr and they evolved to high 80’s by the end of the season with abilities unlocked
I play smashmouth solo user play. I get power run blockers/maulers and a 230+ RB and a 240+ FB and my goal is to beat the defense into the ground. Grind that clock down. Manage the game. Run, run, pass, punt. 😆 I might have an elusive (95+ speed back just for a change of pace and to make toss plays and stretch plays gain a few more yards my rhinoceros of a RB wouldn't normally get. 😂)
They are both good, however, Zeke has better "trucking", less speed besides agility, far better trucking than Pollard, better stiff arm by a large margin, equal catching ability, and way better stamina and an elite injury rating. We would go with Zeke without question but Pollard isn't a bad second option.
That would be great but at the moment there is no way to do such strategies. There used to be, all you can do is change your 3rd down back, power back, and receiving back. However, your question got us thinking and we are going to test some things out. Great question.
Play with the auto-sub option in Manage Staff Franchise mode and adjust the fatigue slider a bit so players get tired. My Fatigue is set to 60 and RB in/out is 92/88. My RB is Derrick Henry... so he doesn't get tired fast. But I get a fair amount of RB2 breaks, after 3 or 4 good physical runs up the gut or if I manage a decent yard rip breaking through the line. Also in formation play selection in games you can toggle player selection choices (PS4 L3 left/right) and swap out RB1 for RB2 or even the FB or Heavy formation.
Also, depending on who you have as your 3rd down they may be the 1st back in some of the shotgun formations. I currently have Le'Veon Bell as my 3rd downback and he's the RB1 in about 3 or 4 of my shotgun formations. I'm guessing those formations default to the 3rd down back because they're a "hands back" or receiving type generally.
That's who my O is built around right now. He's a monster and even when I had a sub O line, he would consistently gain 3 to 4 yards per down. Now I have a much better line my 2nd season running the Titans and I'm averaging 5 to 6 yards per carry.
I think its best to have one good power back and one good back that excells at catching the ball. Having a brute for 4th and 1 is very important.

the intro was deep - i liked it
Hey do you have a video of best/realistic sliders for franchise mode ? Would love to copy it into my franchise against the cpu
We have still been working on it, we will let you know when we release it.

Power back is always the way to go
I love pacheco, cause I upgrade PowerBack but he starts with 91 speed
It’s situational for me. I have all 3 RB archetypes on my roster so that I can be ready for any situation.
I like power backs

Which one would you say Ezekiel Elliott or Tony Pollard is better RB for comp?

Is there a way to rotate running back like Kyle shannana on madden

Kenneth walker is a great blance between power and speed
What’s the best defensive team for regs
Receiving back
Since the updates in madden has your playbooks and schemes changed too or are you still suggesting the original playbooks and schemes from the start.
We are still suggesting the same playbooks but we are going to release more options soon.
