The plastic parts on the Redcat Rampage XB are very strong and will last for years. The single part you MUST upgrade to aluminum ASAP, however, is the DIFF MOUNT SET, the two units that house the transmission gears. Why? After heavy running the larger part with the 3 gears (the one attached to the clutch bell and down to the pinion) melts. Reserve a set of bearings for the transmission too; they wear out after heavy running. PEACE!
I have a Redcat Rampage XR. Same platform, more or less, as the Redcat Rampage XB. Bent away bar? Just straighten that sucker. You'll get that front drive back into that socket easy. Things fall apart easily on the gas Rampages. Stock up on small spares like set screws etc. Great vehicle for exactly what you're doing in this video; not so good for track racing, however.
Yeah it did. But in his defense it wasn't all his fault. The front left lower shock mount had come loose 1st and that caused the car to bear left and hit the truck. No kill switch installed either.👎🏾
Yeah brah. His lower shock mount broke prior to the crash. When the shock popped out he lost control and hit the truck. So it wasn't completely his fault.👎🏾
