Wally Cox's co-star in his 1952 to 55 sitcom Mister Peepers was Tony Randall. Cox was teacher Robinson J. Peepers. Randall was on about half of the episodes and was fellow teacher Harvey Weskit. They were probably insulting each other in the way that Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly did on Match Game. They did it for fun, not because they hated each other.
December 1972...I was in 6th grade! My brothers and I watched some tv game shows, including this one, when new....during summers and holidays. I remember those stars. I always liked Glenn Ford. Paul Lynde was hilarious. He was often on tv shows during the 1960s-1970s.
Note, to HS technical folk: If a contestant picks, "Mr. Ross Martin", don't light Miss Rose Marie's square. 'Might lose a couple of dollars, from the next paycheck.
Had this here in UK too this gameshows. Instead of Hollywood was branded Celebrity Squares. From 1975 to 1979. Again from 1993 to 1997. Was presented on both stints by a gameshow legend called Bob Monkhouse
Thank you for posting this video now I get to see my father anytime that I want. My father is Doug Aitken he passed away July 3rd 2020.
My condolences. How cool that you have this little treasure. And, he won the car!
Sorry for your loss, but what a cool way to remember your father.
So happy for you, you get to see dad happy and having fun with yesterdays beautiful stars. What a memory. P.S. You dad was very handsome
I wonder what happened to the Chevrolet Vega ?.
@@alriz7066 The Vega probably had to be junked after a year or two. What a horrible decade for automobile enthusiasts the 1970s were.
Of the stars on this, I believe only Charo is still with us. Peter Marshall at last check is still with us at 97.
David Steinberg is still around.
Peter Marshall passed away this week at 98.
@@billkoenig1552 Yes I know.
Holy mackerel, Charo was only 21 years old!
Paul Lynde was my favorite on the show !
The amazing Ross Martin !
Also a great show, Peter Marshall was a great host of Hollywood Squares. The constants were great also.
I,am trying to get the Hollywood squares game with the cast of Barney miller and little house on the prairie

Thank you.
Charo actually looks so much more beautiful here than in the “Love Boat” years. She’s much softer and natural looking.
I always liked Charo. She looked like she'd be a lot of fun to hang out with for a day.
@@StephenBurrus4444or a month!
She was younger too!
Nunca había visto este programa. Rosa Martin( descansa en Paz) lo veía en the Wild wild west
Love the bouffant on the Chinese woman...how 70s is that?!!
All dead except Charo - time flies
I believe David Steinberg is still living too!
When I was a lad my mother watched this show. She’s dead now. Thanks a lot Hollywood Squares.

Wally Cox ended up in an urn upon Marlon Brando's mantel.
Are there any of these old Hollywood Squares on YT with John Davidson? My recollection is that he was a great bluffer.
How they let Charo's story about the silicone balls fly, I don't know. But it was pretty funny!
9:52 Shasta soda in the days before American soda pop had high fructose corn syrup.
Peter looks super handsome in this episode.
❤The House Squares Especially Paul Lynne ❤
Here we go with Peter Marshall wearing a prom tux ha ha ha
It's not light blue here
Ross Martin succumbed to a heart attack after playing golf. He was too young to leave us
Yes, he was too young, but it was tennis, not golf.
Two balls hanging down😅
Beethoven's "Erotica" Symphony?????????? LMAO
Forgive me Kenny Williams but every Frigidaire is not a refrigerator? I think you said that backwards.
Season 2 of nighttime Hollywood Squares is when Peter wore a tuxedo in all episodes
I'd love this to be on Buzzr in the future.
Champion came out in 1949.
Stop whining, Glen.
Florence Henderson has been to Hawaii.
The grand piano in the first secret square was the best prize I've seen offered by the show.
In 1968, a car was won by a contestant picking the Secret Square.
Not if you are a piano player...
What kind of glasses is Peter Marshall wearing
EYE glasses.
