I remember downloading this full album in 2014 when it first came out. I was taking the high-speed rail from Qingdao to Beijing, and at the time, my only knowledge of Sukekiyo was The Daemon's Cutlery because it was released as a teaser beforehand. I listened to the full album twice, and I fell in love. I already loved Rentrer en Soi growing up, and 9Goats Blackout were that secret treasure band that no one else seemed to know about (although they had disbanded by that time, I think), so to hear this absolute power ensemble being fronted by Kyo everything I could have asked for. It's crazy to believe that it's already been six years.
