I'm coming out and saying right now....Sonic is not gonna to be arrested. I know because he escape the police or GUN from Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic X. And he is just too fast to ever be arrested.
He did eventually get caught right after though (in X Chris convinced him to surrender but whatever).
