Can't believe they send the wheel out with the bearing and crank arm on without fitting the disc for you, that really sucks. I've had 2 Nimbus Muni's from UDC and both had the disc and hydraulics already fitted. That said . . . ouch!
They were out of Oracles so I had to be a brake-less Muni and a brake kit. It's not really UDC's fault as they are selling out of everything at the moment.. It was lucky though that I'd kept my ISIS Extractor from when I had my previous unis.. Thanks for stopping by and keep on ridin'
@@bobgriffiths That makes sense, I was surprised because their service is always faultless. Just a quick nod re fitting the calliper, you need to squeeze the brake lever which will centre the calliper on the disc whilst tightening the last two bolts. (I'm guessing you were doing this as you only had one hand on the calliper but, worth mentioning in case anyone uses this as a demo and ends up damaging their pads, disc or calliper as a result). Now we just need to see you ride the thing!
I can’t find the disc brake kit online, do you have a link to it? I’m not sure how I’d go about installing one on my 26 nimbus muni
