He discussed with us the history of the distillery and how they continue to use a traditional method of tequila production. I’m not a fan of small tequila makers. I’m a fan of a small tequila maker, who makes the best tequila I’ve ever had. Fortaleza is my ultimate favorite.

Fortaleza reposado and El Tesoro reposado are my two favorite tequilas. First time I tried Fortaleza it was "love" at first taste.

Man those big corporations are literally killing the ground where agave grows and now there has been a shortage because they dont wait for the full 10 years process which has raised the prices as well in the market
@@ericktellez7632 it isn't a 10 year process and hasn't been for a long, long time. Most agave these days are harvested at 5-6 years of age and are fully mature.

Prior to covid they would host bartenders from around the US yearly. He spoke with us about Pastry War more even after the interview. We appreciate you listening.

Best juice on the planet!!! I recently visited the distellery and agree it's gorgeous. Interesting when he discusses the still strength being only 3% of sales, I had a very difficult time finding it in the Austin area so this may be due to lack of distribution? Also, I actually found out about the ss from a cocktail bar in Houston...great video🙏
Its a gorgeous place to visit, i was lucky enough to take a tour of it Guillermo is good friends with my gramps so when i went to visit tequila i was able to take a tour by Guillermo. Awesome guy, beautiful property, and amazing tequila.

The vendor that distributes to my package store (in my decent sized town), told me that out of her 200 customers, for the month of July 2023, she received only ONE six bottle case of FORTALEZA (BLANCO) and that was it!
It's just so hard for me, even as a package store owner, to get my hands on FORTALEZA. Especially in the last year it's even worse because so many people are aware of it now & how awesome it is.
Yeah I was made aware a year ago this time! Went to my closest ABC store, scored two bottles of Fortaleza Blanco at $60 each. One for my buddy who put me on and one for me. Can’t believe how hard it is to find now! Way more difficult than Blantons and other allocated spirits

I found the blanco, reposado and anejo in the first liquor store I tried in Houston (Total Wine & More).
We are from the area and Total Wine always has a good selection.

Believe it or not there are my relatives i am also a sauza..i belong to sauza clan in philippines,its a long story why there is a sauza here in philippines.

Fortaleza and 7 Leguas are really the two top Tequilas in the game, Don Julio is close too.
I am not a big fan of Fortaleza tried a bottle of Blanco & Anejo and its good but does not have enough body or structure.I preferred G4 Blanco and had G4 Anejo tied with Fortaleza Anejo.I also thought Pasote blanco was better and had the Pasote Anjeo above Fortaleza and G4 anejo.

They are now the Sauza brand. I believe that's what he said.
He has a farm not a ranch. He should put put a train. The haciéndados of henequen fibers had trains. They were in Yucatán while he is Jalisco. Even Milton S. Hershey had a train in his sugar plantation in Cuba.
I bought casamigos reposado and what nade me laugh in shame is when the label said Glutton free !! I was like just stamp on it taste like alcohol on it and the color of the liquid whole hr at it lol but yes i grew up with sauza

Thats is why i prefer blanco. With the others, the reposados, añejos, you dont get the true flavors of agave. Its agave plus the flavors and smells of the wood.
That is what is great about the Fortaleza line up. Even in the reposado and anejo, you still get the agave.
Mr Sauza I will drink your small batch anytime even if the color is different……..this is legit tequila ‘
Support small batch tequila makers, additive free and absolutely great quality tequila. Stay away from marketed celebrity brands.

Did sauza buy cabo ? Sammy Hagar ruined that beautiful nectar my wife used it so she wouldn't take her pain meds so much such a high quality tequila ruined after selling it changing manufacturer now it's bottom shelf swill
