Scammers make up stories and each one is different, they often use quick pressure manipulation. So they woo the victim, get that emotional bond and then go in for a last minute high pressure situation, which leaves the victim both emotionally hurt and leaves them little time to think. So being arrested, is something that the scammer can make up and then ask for money quickly, leaving the victim little time to think over the actual situation at hand.

Whether you find out hes a scammer . because when you talk to them for a pretty long time online . you do start having feelings and sometimes thats the worst thing about being scammed . its just not all about money. Its about the feelings you get . I was also going through a break up and when they say things to you that you want to hear . You start to trust them and thats the most dangerous part of being scammed because thats when you know you fallen in love with them. You can learn not to send money . But I do you learn to turn you're feelings off. I believe in god and I prayed I never go through what I did with Edward miller . But is it fair blaming and treating men has if they all are scammers when really at first you dont know and sometimes its to late because yet again you have fallen in love .

Romantic era have done a lot of damage to women, all these Women suffers of Cinderella Syndrome, it's a book I highly recommend, I don't mean to be mean or disrespectful, it takes a lot of courage to tell their stories , women at these ages range don't realize that it's money what they want, or some kind of benefit what what else a younger man would want from a woman passed 50 it's time to understand that men and women are very different, our biology is different , men don't fall in love their their ear like women do, men are visual, feminism me too movement, women promiscuity, don't benefits women or men time to wake up ,decent men don't ask for money that they don't know . Unfortunately I must agree with the fact that women lack of critical thinking , sorry again my comment is not empathetic , but the victim mentality doesn't work either , with all the money all these women had spent in living a fantasy of the perfect men , they could had done a lot of good to other problems we have. A hard lesson but very nessesary. I'm sorry for my grammar I also being brave for making such comment that I know is not going to be like but the truth will make us free, love and healing and WAKE UP

It's a TRAUMA BOND.....narcissist abuse symptom.
Fall in love with someone you never met is like fall in love with fictional characters. These people try to escape from the reality. This is a warning sign and the best decision to do is find a good counselor.
Almost got caught up in a situation like this.
Me too. Never send money.
Sounds like she was brainwashed.
this is the tragic story of not one but two idiots
Is this woman on drugs??
She had a wonderful marriage???
If ppl that have a wonderful marriage have her behavior,I don't wanna know about the ones that don't.
She put her husband through hell.
Personally I think she is in some kind of delusional stage.what does he want with an older woman. Honestly, don't have much sympathy for her. Like she was under some hypnotic spell. Is this possible to be hypnotized over the phone.?
I'm serious. Perhaps a traumatized lonely women could fall for this carp , fo a little while but eventually she will wake up.
Is there a helpline for people (victims) who had been scammed or for the people whose pictures the scammer uses?
Not that I am aware of, as far as victims of photo theft , sadly victims can do nothing about their photos being stolen. There are support groups online
Scamming Scammers Thank you. Do you happen to have links for any of the online supports that you can share?
@@darlenepetrie8285 I don't have the links offhand but if you are on Facebook, our inbox under Scamming Scammers Action is always open, drop me a message and I'll gather the link. We have one lady who is running her own private support group on Facebook. She doesn't work for our page or anything but she was a victim and she started her own support network. She is very kind and very real.
Scamming Scammers Thank you so much. I will see if I can touch base with her. I am wanting to put together an Infographic to post, send to different people and am looking for contacts who are willing to be included on my Infographic as well as interested sites to post it. This is such a terrible epidemic and and I believe the more people who spread the word will prevent victims. Thank you so very much. I really appreciate your help.
@@darlenepetrie8285 count me in
Good people, these scammers are using spell to control the victims. Ask yourself why would the victim fall for.the acammer’s time and time again? It's not normal.
Mampe Lesetla absolutely true , cas no one will fall for these ignorant and dumb tricks .Sometimes these scammers excuses are very silly
True..they're using black magic
too quiet
Her husband shows you what nice guys get ln the end smh very sad.stop chasing a romance movie.learn how to be happy with what you have and who you have especially if your with a loving person.how sad greed corrupts
Sorry this happened you sister ...guys that do negative comments have some compassion it not that simple, over eating any addiction is the same it so terrible you comment without knowledge 😞
Please take this in the spirit it is given. It would help if you read the story through at least once before recording. It would save the hesitation on your oratoon.
To be fair it was the very first story I had ever narrated. :)
Confusing story
Well I’m just kind of thinking this might sound mean but since this Michael fella claimed that you were his wife if he died you would’ve got half his estate course we both know it’s not real I think about $35 million that way
Her husband would be perfect for me.
I feel sorry for the husband He was loyal to her. Yet she was planning on leaving him. SHe couldn't be any more stupid. & Jeopardising her health too Her real husband didn't do that to her like the scammer did. No real person that loves you would do that.I do not feel sorry for this woman at all. I hate people like that when they try to leave when the other done nothing wrong. SHe had it coming what she deserved.
No sympathy
Where did she get all this money?
Some people have money, others don't. This woman and her family were successful in terms of having money
I think these was the same scam 💔and take my money
That first photo looked like a blonde Bob hair style on first glance lol hahahah yeah rock fan
i cant bear this ,is this for real???
Sadly it is, the victim in question her story was verified and she was actually one of the first people to come forward to tell their story.
This is so low in volume,it's almost not worth it to listen to😔
Sorry but unfortunately this recording is from many years ago and I couldn't afford high end equipment.
@@ScammingScammers I can hear it perfectly, prob needs ears syringing lol
I'm sorry for my grammar I also being brave for making such comment that I know is not going to be like but the truth will make us free, love and healing and WAKE UP
YOU lack critical thinking and grammar skills. Quit polluting your surroundings with your philosophy and trivial literature.
There is no perfect man, and if you need to man just pray for one,. Or you can have fun picking out a scammer
Or you can have fun picking at a scammer,
And you do know scammers are on here reading this right,. But who cares
I'm a writer, have written romantic fiction over the years, there is a lot of truth in your comments, we might find uncomfortable because we like the fantasy.
How tragic for the victim
Louder.
but he was same age as me!
