I've been an avid Samsung user and Note user for years and I was skeptical on any new "tips and trick s" I could learn. I was pleasantly surprised on how deep you went to find some of these tricks. Nicely done. Great vid.
My favorite feature of samsung browser is the ability to screenshot, when you view the image in the gallery it gives you a button to return to that url. Most useful feature imho
@@alialrubaye6570 the phone itself is fine, but I still feel Android is less refined than iOS. I like the larger display and s-pen. Sure it has lots of bells and whistles, but all that is of no value to me. I'll keep this phone for awhile, but I will be switching back to iOS.

It shows that it LEARNS from the way you use it and it does everything to prioritize what it needs to be use". And we have 2 Note 20 Ultra in the house, mine (Mystic Black) and my wife (Mystic Brown), and we noticed BETTER battery life, especially AFTER 2 big software updates. @@OT4Tech looking forward to the camera tips actually. I am running on the Exynos version, but for some reason, the camera caused the phone to heat up real quick! That happened when I tried out the phone since I got it two days ago. And the night shots are absolutely horrible. Not sure how does some TH-camrs managed to take decent shot. I'm gonna have to try it again once your video comes out. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong

Great video. My advice. Do some dex videos. It's sofa king awesome and people don't do videos on it. To me it makes android have a step over apple the last 2 years. Turns any modern TV into a $1500 laptop. I spent maybe $40 on a foldable Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and can make any hotel TV when I travel into a computer to get work done. No need to take the laptop cause dex is way better and faster.
@@Boojyman it connects with a cable but the new note 20 ultra can do it over wifi like a screen cast. I use a cable, usbc to hdmi when I travel and can make the hotel tvs my computer. I have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and can sit anywhere.

I received my ultra in white today. Coming from the note 10+ I didn't think it would be a big difference, but honestly it has been for me. Build quality is unreal. Being a leftie having the s pen free for the dominant hand has been an unexpected treat. I feel like Samsung is going to reverse this as fast as possible because righties will now see how annoying it is right next to your palm. Hey, we finally got one. I'll take it. The laser focus is far superior. Nothing focus hunts now. My 10+ disappointed coming from the lg40 in picture quality, but this is now on par with the current flagships. Yup, its expensive, but to me, this is a fantastic evolution. Lastly, 120hz is legit a game changer.

I've owned 3 different versions of the Galaxy Note phone, and NONE of them allowed me to "put apps to spleep"!
Wow. I gotta say these new phones can be great, but rarely do people take full advantage of them simply because they don't know all the features. I use my phone a ton and still learned a bunch. Great tutorial, awesome walk-through, and simple descriptions. Nice work making these phones more fun and easy to use. If give you two thumbs up if I could.
2yrs later & my Naked Note 10+ is running way more efficiently than when it was released. I think the One UI 3.1 Android 11 update did the trick. I've always been able to get all day battery life & I'm a heavy Streamer & watch downloaded movies on my 512g 12g Ram Note 10+. They can be found on Amazon now for less than $450, that's a great buy.. If your worried about Battery Life? Don't be. The 10 Series is a beast! 🤟

Ooh-My-God?!?! I'm going to need a night course to learn how to use this new phone. Tomorrow I'm going to be upgrading from a Galaxy Note 5 (from 2015) to a Galaxy Note S20 Ultra. I know my old phone is only 5 years old, but after watching this video my old phone is practically from the 1970's in technology years. Why did I wait so long to upgrade? My old phone is super reliable. I've already replaced the battery once about 6 months ago and again, my phone can not charge beyond 77%. Which now tells me it's not a battery issue anymore. I replaced it with a "NewPower 99" brand battery. But hey. 5 years is a good run. I got my money's worth out of my old phone. But now I gotta learn a few years worth of features; many which I have not heard of.
These Note 20 Ultra videos have been helpful for me. I'm a long time iPhone user and I just got my Note a few days ago. I have a question. All my services are using exchange so emails, contacts, calendar etc. I do have my Google account but I prefer to keep things on MS for other stuff. The problem i see is, unlike iOS, i can stop the sync but i would prefer being able to simply turn off say contacts and but have only emails available for gmail. That's an example.
I believe if you go into the contacts app and jump into the settings you can disable the accounts you don't want to sync and the same thing with the calendar. Does this help?

Jonathan..Great Video I learned a lot but I had a head injury 20 years ago and although I can fallow you if you go one step at a time I have a hard time even stopping the video's and doing what you just explained on my phone ..is there anyway you can slow down a little and maybe take a minute in between subjects or in between long explanations of other long complicated paragraphs ..Thank you so much for your in advance

Great video! One thing of warning, anyone who does uber eats or driver that uses the uber driver app, I advise against using mock gps location as that will get you banned from uber inadvertantly.
This note 20 ultra can probably do about 80% of what my note 9 can do. Note9 can: - Iris sensor, which is so secure it can be used for payments and because it uses infrared light that means I can unlock my phone in the dark just by looking at it -front led indicator, can assign different colors for different notifications at a glance -heart beat sensor, can track health and fitness apps better without the need to purchase the watch -physical fingerprint sensor, works every single time!, Can be used to flick open Samsung pay or bring down your notification shade with a finger that is always on the back anyways, can easily find in the dark, can easily pull from pocket and unlock in a more fluid motion! -headphone jack! -can be purchased for $300 Note20 ultra can: -make you broke -can do air gestures with the s pen....yay -120hz at 1080p -take better pictures and videos, not night and day difference....like you would have to have each picture side by side to notice the slight improvements from one to the other....except for night mode....that is a substantial difference. -8k@24fps so that you can do play back on your 4k tv....yay -wireless dex, not gonna lie this is badass. But my overall point is I'm running one UI 2.1 and the ultra is 2.5, the software is what gives you most of the features and the important ones can be had for a far better price. I do like the note 20 ultra, I just don't like it at $1400, I will wait one year when the price has fallen 70%. It will take the next 3 years to loose that remaining 30% of value the phone has left. Why absorb that 70% loss when someone else will do it for you.
I mean I can see your points but you have to understand everything you listed is subjective to you and other people will have different thoughts and opinions. At the end of the day you have to do what’s best for you and what fits your budget and lifestyle.
@@OT4Tech I definitely agree that ultimately you need to do what's best for you. But what I listed is not subjective, the note9 can absolutely do those things, and the note 20 ultra can do what I said also. Now it may or may not make you broke, and you may have an 8k display to watch your video on....I was just playing around there. But it also is fact that in the first year of the note 20s life span it will loose the majority of its value. Now don't get me wrong I love the styling of the new note but we are in an era where the note line is changing. It really started with the note 10 line having multiple models and trading up features from previous notes for looks. Once upon a time you could count on the newest note having every feature the previous one did and more but it is not that way anymore. It is both sad and exciting all at the same time. Because yes the note9 can do things the 10 and the 20 cannot do but in reality I don't really use the heartbeat sensor or the Iris sensor and I probably would give them up for a more bezel-less display that looks amazing. That is what is subjective now, the fact that you can even make a choice, because like I said you used to get all previous features and more. Sorry for rambling, just some thoughts to consider, thank you for the content, I really dig your background with the red and blue lights, it looks awesome!
@@OT4Tech The speaker sound louder and scrolling plus the smoother faster. Even the Bluetooth connections better louder on my devices I've notice the difference from my note 10 plus. Also why better camera the laser focus is killing it speed also the best pictures and video by far.
Are you some sort of highly paid covert Samsung Android ninja? Where on earth did you learn all of this?? Way back when, when this phone was first released, a lot of the reviews had me very skeptical of the battery and its longevity between charges. Because of This I stopped considering the note 20 ultra as my next phone. Now, having watched this video a couple of times, I think I’m gonna give it a go. One can only imagine how many times I’ll have to press pause while setting it up.. Nevertheless, thanks in advance, Jonathan for this and all your other videos!
I bought this phone in the white and got a microSD card of 1 TB I do the flag ship iPhone and android every single fall . I just hope the new iPhone has no big ass notch this October. And it’s going to be late this year ?? and probably not shipped until November . My Galaxy fold has a great screen for movies !! My note 20 ultra is amazing as well. Apple ; they had better have 5G this year and 120 refresh rate if not it will put them behind a year. Here in Manhattan on the upper Eastside of Madison Square, Park Avenue where I live in my skyline we have the most awesome 5G network my mother in Chicago has it ; and my friends in Southern California has it too . hopefully everybody will have 5G in a few months not just major metropolitan cities. There is no turning back after experiencing 5G.
This isn’t because of the video quality it’s because of your carrier and how the message is sent. Long story short, if you want to fix it send it by a different messaging app like Facebook messenger, telegram, or WhatsApp. If the person is using an android phone both of you can switch to Android messages as your default texting app and it will send high quality.

Wow. I gotta say these new phones can be great, but rarely do people take full advantage of them simply because they don't know all the features. I use my phone a ton and still learned a bunch. Great tutorial, awesome walk-through, and simple descriptions. Nice work making these phones more fun and easy to use. If give you two thumbs up if I could.

2yrs later & my Naked Note 10+ is running way more efficiently than when it was released. I think the One UI 3.1 Android 11 update did the trick.
I've always been able to get all day battery life & I'm a heavy Streamer & watch downloaded movies on my 512g 12g Ram Note 10+.
They can be found on Amazon now for less than $450, that's a great buy.. If your worried about Battery Life? Don't be. The 10 Series is a beast! 🤟
I preordered day 1 upgrading for a Note 9 mainly cause of the camera but thank you so much for the tricks and tips I'll be coming back when I have my Device

Ooh-My-God?!?! I'm going to need a night course to learn how to use this new phone. Tomorrow I'm going to be upgrading from a Galaxy Note 5 (from 2015) to a Galaxy Note S20 Ultra. I know my old phone is only 5 years old, but after watching this video my old phone is practically from the 1970's in technology years. Why did I wait so long to upgrade? My old phone is super reliable.
I've already replaced the battery once about 6 months ago and again, my phone can not charge beyond 77%. Which now tells me it's not a battery issue anymore. I replaced it with a "NewPower 99" brand battery. But hey. 5 years is a good run. I got my money's worth out of my old phone.
But now I gotta learn a few years worth of features; many which I have not heard of.
Who needs airpods when they are showing me the beans!

These Note 20 Ultra videos have been helpful for me. I'm a long time iPhone user and I just got my Note a few days ago. I have a question. All my services are using exchange so emails, contacts, calendar etc. I do have my Google account but I prefer to keep things on MS for other stuff. The problem i see is, unlike iOS, i can stop the sync but i would prefer being able to simply turn off say contacts and but have only emails available for gmail. That's an example.
I believe if you go into the contacts app and jump into the settings you can disable the accounts you don't want to sync and the same thing with the calendar. Does this help?
I rarely like any review videos on youtube as most of them are baised, but surely a LIKE and SUB to your chanel about your informational tips about Note phones. Never knew some of the tips that ever existed.

Not 100% certain on that one. I know Samsung OEM, Pitaka, and a couple others work just fine.

One thing of warning, anyone who does uber eats or driver that uses the uber driver app, I advise against using mock gps location as that will get you banned from uber inadvertantly.

This note 20 ultra can probably do about 80% of what my note 9 can do.
Note9 can:
- Iris sensor, which is so secure it can be used for payments and because it uses infrared light that means I can unlock my phone in the dark just by looking at it
-front led indicator, can assign different colors for different notifications at a glance
-heart beat sensor, can track health and fitness apps better without the need to purchase the watch
-physical fingerprint sensor, works every single time!, Can be used to flick open Samsung pay or bring down your notification shade with a finger that is always on the back anyways, can easily find in the dark, can easily pull from pocket and unlock in a more fluid motion!
-headphone jack!
-can be purchased for $300
Note20 ultra can:
-make you broke
-can do air gestures with the s pen....yay
-120hz at 1080p
-take better pictures and videos, not night and day difference....like you would have to have each picture side by side to notice the slight improvements from one to the other....except for night mode....that is a substantial difference.
-8k@24fps so that you can do play back on your 4k tv....yay
-wireless dex, not gonna lie this is badass.
But my overall point is I'm running one UI 2.1 and the ultra is 2.5, the software is what gives you most of the features and the important ones can be had for a far better price. I do like the note 20 ultra, I just don't like it at $1400, I will wait one year when the price has fallen 70%. It will take the next 3 years to loose that remaining 30% of value the phone has left. Why absorb that 70% loss when someone else will do it for you.
I mean I can see your points but you have to understand everything you listed is subjective to you and other people will have different thoughts and opinions. At the end of the day you have to do what’s best for you and what fits your budget and lifestyle.
@@OT4Tech I definitely agree that ultimately you need to do what's best for you. But what I listed is not subjective, the note9 can absolutely do those things, and the note 20 ultra can do what I said also. Now it may or may not make you broke, and you may have an 8k display to watch your video on....I was just playing around there. But it also is fact that in the first year of the note 20s life span it will loose the majority of its value. Now don't get me wrong I love the styling of the new note but we are in an era where the note line is changing. It really started with the note 10 line having multiple models and trading up features from previous notes for looks. Once upon a time you could count on the newest note having every feature the previous one did and more but it is not that way anymore. It is both sad and exciting all at the same time. Because yes the note9 can do things the 10 and the 20 cannot do but in reality I don't really use the heartbeat sensor or the Iris sensor and I probably would give them up for a more bezel-less display that looks amazing. That is what is subjective now, the fact that you can even make a choice, because like I said you used to get all previous features and more.

@@OT4Tech The speaker sound louder and scrolling plus the smoother faster. Even the Bluetooth connections better louder on my devices I've notice the difference from my note 10 plus. Also why better camera the laser focus is killing it speed also the best pictures and video by far.
Are you some sort of highly paid covert Samsung Android ninja? Where on earth did you learn all of this?? Way back when, when this phone was first released, a lot of the reviews had me very skeptical of the battery and its longevity between charges. Because of This I stopped considering the note 20 ultra as my next phone. Now, having watched this video a couple of times, I think I’m gonna give it a go. One can only imagine how many times I’ll have to press pause while setting it up.. Nevertheless, thanks in advance, Jonathan for this and all your other videos!

I bought this phone in the white and got a microSD card of 1 TB I do the flag ship iPhone and android every single fall . I just hope the new iPhone has no big ass notch this October. And it’s going to be late this year ?? and probably not shipped until November . My Galaxy fold has a great screen for movies !! My note 20 ultra is amazing as well. Apple ; they had better have 5G this year and 120 refresh rate if not it will put them behind a year. Here in Manhattan on the upper Eastside of Madison Square, Park Avenue where I live in my skyline we have the most awesome 5G network my mother in Chicago has it ; and my friends in Southern California has it too . hopefully everybody will have 5G in a few months not just major metropolitan cities. There is no turning back after experiencing 5G.
Would love to see a benchmark comparison with Samsung security enabled vs disabled.

This isn’t because of the video quality it’s because of your carrier and how the message is sent. Long story short, if you want to fix it send it by a different messaging app like Facebook messenger, telegram, or WhatsApp. If the person is using an android phone both of you can switch to Android messages as your default texting app and it will send high quality.
