i don't agree. That is the main difference if we compare them to the Top Gear crew. There is no leader (Jeremy) and there is no weak link (May). This team is much more balanced.
You know I can understand his frustration. Their is only on Starbucks in Farmington, NM and to get to it from the closest hotel you have to walk a mile on top of that you have to cross a 6 lane highway with walk sighs that only last for about 5 to 6 secs. With people who don't care if your crossing the highway.
I honestly would love to see more Car Trek episodes, that first one was such a surprise and you guys have improved each season by leaps and bounds. I love the banter between you three and although like Freddy says you are different people you have that same “ Top Gear / Grand Tour “ feel because of the playful / serious / mess around nature the other shows portrayed. Love it keep them rolling ! If you make them we’ll watch them 100%

Apparently Freddy Flintoff suffered a serious crash with several broken ribs and facial injuries. BBC has canceled Top Gear possibly permanently. So other than Grand Tour you guys are now the new Top Gear that is if you keep making episodes. Hope you do.

The best part of Car Trek for me is that you get to see three friends who have great chemistry together doing questionable things in cars while having the time of their lives. We have seen this premise fail miserably (American Top Gear) in the past, but when it is done right, it is a magical thing!

i don't think that Car Trek would have lasted as long as it has, if it wasn't for the chemistry between the three of you. 3 different people, with 3 different, lifestyles, and personalities. you feed off of each other in a positive way. plus, the low budget makes it more real, and relatable to the average person. hope to see more of it in the years to come. don't change anything.
Ed, Freddy and Tyler should do a Car Trek coast to coast and back on the east coast you purchase any vehicle without knowing what the challenge or route is for an opponent and you pick a different vehicle for the ride back for your other opponent.
We could do it in South Africa for a fraction of the cost,, all the equipment is here and it’s one of the most beautiful shoot locations in the world. And a coffe is 0.2 dollars

I’m loving Cartrek but I would love for the challenges to focus on the question more than forcing a car into the show. Oliver is the most famous TG car and it’s special because it was understated. I would like more of that then trying to get an out of budget by $100,000 car. Also small tweak but the goal should never be to get the worst car and then argue who’s is worst. Top gear was great because the driver of the car loved and would defend it like a family member. It was great to see people to argue who had the best terrible car instead of Ferrari drivers arguing who’s is worst. Absolutely love the series. Just trying to offer positive critiques to make it even better
Probably the cheapest option for doing a Car Trek outside the US would be Canada. The exchange rate is favourable for you guys and we've got just as nice sites as the US.

When you’re expecting unsweetened iced tea, and you get really sweet tea, not a good experience! I’m sure it’s probably just as bad the other way around I love unsweetened tea, and sweet makes me gag, so I can relate to Tyler’s experience. I live in the south though, so I’m very forgiving, because I understand that I’m the weirdo here!
Being a firefighter, with those cliffs and not knowing they are there. We call that crash obsolescence. If you don't know it's there it's not on your mind and your less likely to make a mistake worrying. Love the content just figured I'd throw some knowledge out there

I think one thing this interview shows is that some of the simpler ones seemed more enjoyable. Ever consider finding or hosting something similar to Lemons, maybe with lemons people? Like some challenge of automotive olympics. With some criteria that keeps it from being an actual Lemons car. Essentially, what is the best do everything. You did the three car garage, but what if garage can only hold one car?
Still think it would be a cool idea to do a cheap car NOT super expensive car challenge not more than $4500 or a car trek with rutledge and adam ferrera and tanner foust
