it really doesn't, this comes nowhere near to touching modded descenders - obviously also a very early version of the mtb stuff but by no means looks anywhere near realistic whereas descenders can be played realistically if you choose to and don't rely on unmodded content
There is sprint, there is quick respawn, you can still whip, you can change settings while on a track. I dont think the game is more stiff. You can change camera settings to make it feel more dynamic iirc. I think youre being a bit harsh on the game in this video.
As a long time dev tester on TDR, I find his criticisms to be quite fair. Sure, there were some systems he missed, like the ability to set a marker and respawn at it quickly. But most of his critiques with the physics can't really be argued with in my opinion. I think it is good feedback that the devs can hopefully take some inspiration from as development goes forward.
This game seems almost TOO realisitc lol. I am a very avid mtber, and just like mx bikes, it seems even harder to do these trails in game than it would be to IRL. Great to watch nonetheless, and definitely one of those games that needs to tweak the physics.
Its sad that we got so little mtb games that unironically track day has better mtb physics than descenders bruh, there way more realistic
Descenders was never made to be realistic
Thanks man, I appreciate that

This is the one game that pushes the creativity bar so high. Very cool update!
Thanks

You can adjust the volumes. “Go to box”and then audio. Or in settings on main menu.
Can they stop adding shit and just sort out physics and add basic stuff like ingame options?
theirs a downhill mtb sim coming out next year, my mate is doing some work for it and it looks amazing. mid year i think is demo release

Imagine the more you play the looser it gets bc your guy learns that would be sick
This is dope but that head angle on the DH is sooo steep. XD
yeah, also looks like a backwards mullet build.
That’s because that’s how he has it adjusted. You can adjust it in game.

I say play it more I love watching this game 🎉
This game is the definition of having no direction. It is a jack of all trades and a master of none, unfortunately.
I respect your opinion man, but my game idea is exactly what I am developing for TDR
