While I prefer Blum's goblin voice, this is definitely my favorite goblin design, he was so expressive in this show, like the animation at 1:02 is really good.
Spectacular Spider man was far better for a number of reasons. It was more faithful to the comic in different ways. Spiderman didn't come off as insanely weaker than everyone and the action in Spectacular blows this away. In fact in terms of action alone this version of Spiderman couldn't compare with Batman or Superman animated series.
@johna19977 lame? No way. Ross is really really great but Blum was fantastic. The talent alone you need for the laugh. Even if you don't like his goblin ...somehow.... then he at least has some vocal chops.
Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you: Demon King Piccolo after he smoked an entire barrel of weed. As in one of those big metal oil drum barrels. He packed it as tightly as he could with weed, put the lid on, and placed it over a fire with a rubber hose attached to the lid to concentrate all of the smoke and created a ginormous bong, which he smoked in one single afternoon, and the resulting high lasted all throughout the run of this Spider-Man series.
The Green Goblin will always be my favorite Spider-Man villain and best Marvel battle between Spider-Man and the green goblin will ways be my favorite Marvel fight 🤘🕸🕷😊
Everyone praises Steve Blum from Spectacular but I'm over here saying Neil Ross is the definitive voice for Goblin. Steve's voice is just too low pitched. I always imagined Goblin to have a high pitched psychotic voice. Also, Neil does BOTH Osborn and Goblin voices, and it shows Neil has serious range. Blum can't do it because his voice no matter what pitch is still recognizable, but Neil can change his completely. I love Blum but Neil takes it by far
I realy like Mark Hammil as a hobgoblin and the joker, and I realy like Willem Dafoe as a Green Goblin, BUT - this version of the green goblin is my favourite... This voice is something from another reality, and this person - too, It's not Norman Osborn, It's something else... I understand, that it just Norman's crazy imagination, but, nonetheless it's like another guy who just can't be enough teal to be true, but, he IS, because it's all just imagination of creator. His mask is really face of him, his voice is early - something his own... despite the fact that he does not seem to exist, he is a real separate character and at the same time one of the most interesting... he is incorruptible, impartial, while having a desire for his true goal, which limits him and absolutely perfect in his aspirations, the complete opposite of all other characters in the series ... some otherworldly demon who broke into the world of ordinary people, with his specific task and full dedication to its implementation. I can’t even call him evil, he acts on the basis of his understanding of the right and opposes everything that can hinder the achievement of his goal, without reference to the objective reality in which human society exists.
You've just reminded me that unfortunately I did not include the clip in which Spider-Man webs his mouth after his laughter. Why do I always miss some clips...
Love how the person behind the voice of green goblin was with the laughter, imagine if it were Mark Hamill, or Jack Nicholson almost with that joker laugh.
0:42 great transition into a great laugh.
He sounds like he's trying to resist a massive tickling attack and just breaks and starts laughing maniacally. :)
I always loved that scene
The Green Goblin truly is the Marvel version of The Joker. And is also the Marvel version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
I've always felt the same way. And something else that's really cool is that Mark Hamil who plays Joker voices the Hobgoblin in Spider-Man.
Marvel's version of Jekyll and Hyde is Hulk bud
Actually arcourdin to marvel that carnage
I like how Neil Ross improves his laugh over time.
Considering in the first 2 episodes they just kept recycling the same laughs
"Your friend Osborn here is a few pumpkins short of a full pie." That cracked me up.
Me too

Spiderman: that laugh is getting on my nerves.

The laugh sounds like he's crying. It's downright horrifying. Sounds inhumane
Actually, that was Harry who cried about his father’s secret identity.

This show needed so much more Green Goblin
“There is no Norman Osborn anymore Parker, THERE IS ONLY THE GREEN GOBLIN!!!”
Holy mackerel the Green goblin has one creepy and sinister laugh
I prefer Blum & Hamill as animated Goblin villains, but Ross was great in the role.
Creep
I disagree blum was lame
Ross and Dafoe are two main Green Goblin voices I imagine when I read comics featuring GG.
