My Nigerian friend’s grandma died and they literally had a African style 2nd line funeral which literally brought me here. I can MOST DEF SEE and HEAR the West African roots in Amer. New Orleans 2nd line funeral as outside their Africans clothes and insane level of African drumming, the horns and music was straight up jazzy w/ an African vibe similar to this!! And may her grandma as well as mine RIP
