    Everybody talks about how Great are Japanese Railways.Well that's Becoz they are PRIVATE not run by Government, This might be a shocker to the leftists and They might use the Argument of Chinese Rail,But Chinese Rail is just a Showpiece, Much of it is Unused, As a result it has Debt of $ 900+ Billion USD over it's head and it's only increasing and as it is run by Govt. The debt falls on the Heads of Middle Classes, HENCE, We should follow Japanese model, Just Privatize the Railways by the process The selling each zone to different Companies,which will increase Efficiency, Neatness, Speed, Cargo Transport etc Ultimately reducing the Cost of Goods as Transportation is the single largest contributor to the Cost of a Product

      Just because it somewhat works doesnt mean that it is efficient or a good system, its majboori to use them and the no of accidents and the deficit they go into sucks.
      The problem with indians is we see other countries and talk of tax being used to provide good services but when we get something good everyone talks of Gareebi and poor people & their needs or price of service ( which even for metro or ac trains or even HSR is very affordable in india compared to world)
      This country doesnt belong to freebie eaters only, middle class taxpayers are paying taxes and deserve service

    You shouldn't made a vande Bharat type thing. Instead, you make LHB AC container with Generator Car. That is far cheaper option and can be useful if by chance electricity gets cutted down by natural disasters. For me this is far better option plus it is cheap too

      It's actually costlier and not space efficient. 2 power cars use the space for 2 compartments of cargo. Diesel is also much costlier, Rs. 15 per unit. And the old coaches are much heavier than the Vande architecture.

      Plus in the loading and unloading sequence, there are no electric poles and overhead wires. So a generator car is actually quite useful. Not this

      You first consider how much that country citizen earn we are not like japan which per capita income is 18× higher than India , where they can afford much higher cost of traveling we are not socialist state because we want but we have to because of our large population which is so poor that you can imagine, I know you and me are more than enough money to buy 2000-3000 rs train journey for travel but imagine if this cost 10-15 k for same journey what situation for us . I accept private intervention increase efficiency, quality and most service of railway but it's not our priority if any one wants that they have airplane. For local basic Indian around 60-70% still need some cost efficient railway for thair journey, if we increase fair by public income increase ratio than not a problem at all but sudden increase in price collapse our economy and country whole.
