I thought we were going to have another Gangsta Granny on our hands but they’ve made an effort with this one. It’s ever such a shame the roofs are never themed. I wonder if that’s a health and safety thing? Well lit for emergency evacs etc
This is very impressive! The ride system looks like a mix of Spider-Man from Islands of Adventure and Indiana Jones Adventure. The screens look great too, they give a 3d effect without being 3d
Yes I did like the screens and its called the MotionMaster from a British company called Garmendale. They certainly made some effort with this one unlike our Garmendale ride here in the UK 'Gangsta Granny the Ride'

Damn, this looks alot more impressive than what I was expecting! Merlin, please roll this out to more UK parks. I know what my next build in planet coaster is going to be now. 🐍 🪨 ✨
Haha yeah dude I’m impressed just wish they’d hide the exit signs / emergency lights or at least theme then better if it can’t be done because of health and safety reasons.
IF they would have hidden the lighting fixtures a little bit better... and hidden the exit signs (on only if ride e-stops etc) then.. yea this would be great!
Only a year between Chessington opens their Jumanji ride and England has a version of the ride. I hope Chessington’s ride is as themed as this. I wonder if Chessington’s Jumanji Rollercoaster will have a Dark Ride section? A dark ride section on the Rollercoaster would be brill. Rollercoasters and Dark Rides can combine an example is Crush’s Coaster at Disneyland Paris.
It doesn’t pass through anything to my knowledge although I haven’t seen the plans but I imagine the theming will be great!! I do love Crush’s Coaster!
@@LiftHillsandThrills I’ve never been on Crush’s Coaster. I was using Crush’s Coaster based on TH-cam videos I have watched. The last time I visited Disneyland Paris was May 2006.
can’t think of one American dark ride outside of Disney / Universal that would be ‘big guy level’ what rides you thinking of? I don’t really know of much outside of those guys so would love to check it out
We italians were abituated to Corsari and La Valle dei Re, where all was well themed no black walls or black ceilings only theme landscapes.. so for me Merlin sucks.. nothing can bring back the magic feeling about the first park administration ..
Or on your side, or on your right/left, or at the edge of the scene you are in... Literally it looks like theming is only for the actual action of the scene

How interesting, It's a very 'Universal' looking ride! It's great to see Merlin investing in dark rides though

But honestly the ride is not as themed as you might think. Onboard it just feels like a black painted building with some themed areas

@@mirkozanda it’s the same with many Merlin attractions where darkness is utilised. Can’t be worse than the Dungeon Boat Ride here in the UK 😅
