    I've stayed with several off grid communities around the UK over the past 6 years. It's a very difficult thing to run a stable prosperous community. Some contribute far more or less than others, some feel that drugs are acceptable and others do not. Some want to walk around starkers infont of children, have no sense of personal space and a thousand other little things that can rapidly escalate. clear rules and guidelines are essential because individuals freedoms and rights overlap.

    The irony is that 60 years ago when i was a nipper we effectively DID live in '15 minute communities'. We didn't have a car and the furthest most of us would travel on foot would be to the local shops. If mum needed to go to town we would take the bus. But we rarely needed to travel too far. Then the 'supermarkets' came along. Out of town areas where a car was needed to get to. Councils were falling over themselves giving planning permission to the big corporate names. That in turn hollowed out our communities. Shopkeepers forced out of business by the big boys. Now they have the temerity to force us back into the 'old way' of doing things. That's 'progress'!

  • @janecartmale2884
    @janecartmale2884 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

    Im so pleased 'things' are progressing and becoming a reality, its brings me joy to think of some positivity in this uncertain world and hopefully this is just the start of a chance for a few to have a more enriching life. I may be a member, but being one of the old 'uns who remembers and lived a more simple life once, would just like my children and grandchildren to have more mental and physical freedom to enjoy their lives.

    This system I've lived in for 75 years and it's had its day, we have bailed out to some extent me and my wife, I'm not going to say on here what we did but it's worked for us also I've invested some money in the woodlander initiative I also know it's a bit late in the day for us, but I want this to work out for my grandkids. This is the only way out of this problem because voting isn't going to cut it, I've seen the reform party telling us what the problems are but even if they got into power then it would be controlled by the globalists and billionaires sorry to say money controls everything in this system. We want out completely if that's possible, but what I've found over my lifetime is people are their own worst enemy. What we need is like minded people to join, its probably a good way to start and move forward, so good luck with this new beginning

    Great channel, great initiative. I would like to see zero immigration except for native British people with foreign spouses and a reverse policy for the immigrants we have now. I think our people have enough potential to fill the doctors quota without needing the 3rd world to help us out. Just imagine if there weren't all the immigrants here. Our hospitals would be fine.
    Our people are proven to be some of the smartest in the world. We don't need any other group filling in job vacancies. Why do the wealthy Chinese prefer to send their kids to study in British universities? We are more than capable of fixing our own problems and working together to make Britain thrive if it weren't for the treacherous establishment.

    I read a news article which spoke about a certain Council taking a man to Court because he had put a Static Caravan on his own land - and he incurred a £1600.00 fine. - This puts the spanner in the works for all those who want to live off grid, or have to do this due to the cost of living and housing shortage. 1 thing I'd like to see in terms of health care especially is mental health support and care. I think many of us have struggled and continue to struggle with our mental health (myself included) in general but especially during the pandemic. I know my mental health was badly affected a couple of years ago and I am still trying to recover from that especially with all the anxiety and the constant fearmongering in the news everyday that is going on in the UK and around the world, is it any wonder people need help now more than ever? I think people with an interest in things like herbalism for instance and natural remedies and methods would also help as an option.

I was unsure with interactions and what life seem to look like before 2020 thing and was happy to not chat with and been so close to people in the shops. I can do my best to help but everyone needs different things to help mentality. Using logic that different people learn differently to different levels of a mental issue that someone has to live with. I have only had to deal with a heavy depression a long time ago so all I can do is try to relate as best I can and try to put myself in yours or anyone's shoes.

    🥰 We started growing veggies in 3 orchard sized crates back in September 2020. We extended to the equivalent of 37 crates & have 9 large pots with fruit & herbs (i.e. mint) that need containment. I'd say we're now 95% veggie self-sufficient - as in we've bought the odd item when it's out of season plus we haven't mastered onions, yet. The taste of fresh, organic and sometimes still warm from the sun produce, is something else. We have enough for us two, often spare for family and friends, plus supplements for our dog, 4 chickens and a rabbit.
    The decision to grow our own was out of a bit of fear but it's turned into a highly rewarding, joyous endeavour.

    We should have tribes-communities of less than 500. Everybody within a group should know each other. Social cohesion depends upon trust responsibility and accountability. TWI should limit its overall membership or specify "tribe" groups by region (TWT's)

    Good ole common law and constitution before it was deconstructed for rip off reasons to line the pockets of the greedy. The idea of an alternative way is great, however unless a water tight construction is developed there could be issues before it gets off the ground would be a concern if investing 🤔. Love the concept and always have Simon such a great energy, cheers for taking this forward you are appreciated 🙏🇬🇧

    The bigger the government becomes, the bigger the distance to its people gets..! So I would like to live in a place where the government is very small and dont have a lot of power..! A real government where the people can tell the government what to do with voting in different matters, not only an election.

    I always like to hear about successes like the Woodlander Initiative because there's so much bad news. The fact that such an initiative is in place, gives we unsuccessful ones the hope that other such initiatives will come into being and maybe we will have success in joining one of those. If it can be done once it can be done again. Even at a very advanced age I believe that I could contribute, yes many people disagree but that's just the nature of the majority of modern people. At the outset of this project I was extremely enthusiastic, however I was soon reminded that enthusiasm isn't always going to guarantee success. Life though, continues to move on and present us with more problems that we need to learn to deal with. This system is about to collapse and all the warning signs are plain to see for the educated eye. Soon it won't be possible for the majority of us to survive, but we can take comfort that some will. Though I am one of probably many hundreds who were unsuccessful in our quest, it's nice to hear of the progress that others' have made. So keep us informed of your progress because it's always nice to rejoice in your success.

    I think any system is dependent on the agenda. We know what the agenda is for our current system, so basically we must work to build an opposing agenda. One of freedom, holistic healthcare, self sufficiency and community spirit etc etc xx

    the zombies are becoming less and less (repetitve labour and tory voters are aging and dying off), the imported people have their own representation, very slowly the establishment grip is failing, and so as we can already see they lash out with knee jerk reactions and the 1984 playbook, we seized our chance and got brexit (of course brino), soon we can win again, we can lift up the masses, encourage the disenfranchised to vote reform, it will prove that an alternative way is possible

    you are right in saying the opossition to government are the people , they should shadow check the governments moves !
    Replace the house of lords will taxpaying workers !! This to be done on a dury duty system for a year at a time !!
