    A huge thank you to Teddy for helping me out with this week’s video while I’ve been recovering from Covid.
    Thank you also to my friends at Metalcloak for the support. If you need some armour for your Jeep, please consider their stuff.

Did not show the US Forest Service trail in Colorado that I was actually on while using it. Showed almost no trails in Michigan. Needless to say, I did not subscribe after the trial was up.

    Ok, great install, cool fenders. I have one question however does the new week point become the sheet metal of your quarter panels? Because of the fender a solid something has to give. I’m interested to know how this works out. I like them. I have the quick inner fender, delete on the stock, painted fender of my jeep, and I have next ventures motorsports Christmas tree clip delete to screw in. I really put extreme stress on my left rear one last weekend, and my partner had done the same, but with metal fenders and dented his Jeep. I scraped the plastic and put touch up paint. No body damage was taken. But his Jeep took looks like Mike Tyson punched it.

    1) Rust Problem? Are the "Nifty Things" aka Clips with Nuts (time 9:32) made of stainless steel? If not they look like they will rust out in a winter. A small steel part (Clip with Nut) with all of its sharp edges and surface area is going to rust like crazy if you live in a cold winter area with salted roads. 2) Damage Multiplier? It doesn't look like there is enough reinforcement behind the fenders to stop them from damaging the body sheet metal ? If you take any hard hits or do some rubbing will you please post a follow up on how well the fenders hold up and protect the body.

    Great video as usual. I have a question more than a comment. When the Trail Wrecker died and you ordered the new one, Did you think about a Diesel? If so, what made you go with gas? I'm about to order a Gladiator and I'm really torn between both. What are your thoughts?

    • @TheStoryTillNow
      @TheStoryTillNow  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I’m not sold on the diesels. They have issues often from what I’ve seen and they are being discontinued.

    • @jeffwisemiller3590
      @jeffwisemiller3590 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heard comments about the limited power range of the diesel whereas gas has a much broader power range. With gas, you can crawl up something instead of just sending it with a diesel.

    • @jonathanball6188
      @jonathanball6188 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do the diesel, it's a beast. So much more torque than the gas engine. Very rare when I have to go into 4LO on the trail. Plus at least a third better fuel economy.
