I like this guy - he seems sincere. I hope Allah will open his heart one day to accept Islam. Ameen.
Quran controls me. It controls me to walk away from the sinful acts and brings me to the righteous path.
Coz if i were to act on my own without basing it to the teachings of the Quran, then i may go astray. Our morality should be based on the teachings of Islam and every muslim should be controled by it to acquire Allah's mercy.

Islam doesn't accept the 10 commandments of the Bible. They have there own, which are sinful compared to the 10 commandments from the Bible. That is why I choose the 10 commandments from the Bible to shape what I do. I don't think a religion of peace(Islam) should say it is ok to lie, commit adultery, make false claims against others, kill others, there are a few more commandments. You mentioned morality, all of the commandments in the Bible teach this, but not in the Quran. Then you talk about being controlled, I do not believe in a religion controlling another person. If that happens then you have no free thought, no free will like God wants humans to have.
why not put the 10 commandments from the bible next to the commandments from the Quran side by side? The teaching from the Quran are immoral. that is just a plain fact.
