I adore the new Dermalogica powder cleanser! If anyone has sensitive skin and typical exfoliation irritates your skin, I 100% recommend. It makes your skin SO soft!
The only lip balm type product that Really keeps lips moist for me is O'Keeffe's Lip Repair. It's excellent. That color sweater is Perfect for your skin tone. I have the same skin tone and it's hard to find clothes in that perfect kind of salmon color, so great on fair skin..
Ranking high end skincare is always interesting to manage. Skincare is not like makeup, its value is only there if you have consistency so budgeting is incredibly valuable as is knowing how to make the most out of that budget (whatever it may be as very few people have the ability to be consistent with a routine of the most expensive products on the market). Luckily as you've mentioned you can create an amazing routine on lower priced products, so to me the value of using high end or luxury products comes either from a small increase in efficacy, a more cosmetically elegant formulation, or an otherwise better user experience (gimmicks, packaging, scent, etc.). The Dr. Dennis Gross products are excellent examples of improved efficacy, while products like moisturizers tend to fall into the user experience segments. Just like with lower price items though, there are a lot of duds, or even good products I just can't manage because I don't like the smell (like the Clarins Double Serum). Since I did it with Korean skincare I thought I'd document favorites in the high end category and overall favorites as well that I can look back on next year. High End Favorites: For clarity in my rankings I'm only considering items at least $50. Cleansing Balm: Eve Lom, Elemis (in that order, intentionally not including oils) Second Step Cleanser: Still searching for "the one" but Osea Ocean Cleanser, Amorepacific (foam and powder, though I haven't tried the new dermalogica one). First Step Essence: SK-II, though I don't notice enough of a difference over the Missha First Treatment Essence to pay the price. Toner: Fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner, but I find it inferior to the k-beauty toners I use. Essence: Eve Lom, though I don't find it superior to the k-beauty products. Serum: Perricone MD Cold Plasma+ CBD, Perricone CCC+, Agency Tretinoin Moisturizer: Eve Lom Moisture Cream (general), Sahajan Nourish Crème Riche (thick), Laurel & Reed subscription box (I get a lot of moisturizers I really like from this box I'd never pay full price for). Eye Cream: No favorites prefer k-beauty Eye Serum: Perricone MD Tr Oil: Laurel & Reed subscription box (lots of oils I wouldn't pay full price for but enjoy) Mask: Chantecaille Jasmine (but wouldn't buy again prefer k-beauty) Sunscreen: None Overall Favorites: This is not my routine, but would be if price was not a consideration. While I like variety I'm only picking 1 product unless there's an intended different use case like consistency of moisturizer I'd change based on the time of day, year, weather, etc. Cleansing Balm: Then I Met You Second Step Cleanser: Amorepacific powder (not my preferred cleansing method, but for other cleansers I'm still on the search for something ideal) First Step Essence: SK-II morning and Missha Artemisia night Toner: I'm From Rice Toner Essence: I'm From Mugwort Essence (morning), Vegan Kombucha (night), Cosrx Snail 96 (also night) Retinoid: Agency Tret Vitamin C: Perricone CCC+ Other Serums: Morning (nothing set in stone but like something stabilizing or peptides, etc.) Perricone MD Cold Plasma+ CBD (night) Barrier Serum: Liquid Gold Eye Cream: Nothing specific but normally k-beauty and lighter Eye Serum: Dr. Dennis Gross Retinol+ Moisturizer: Eve Lom (morning); Sahajan Nourish Crème Riche (night); Tatcha Water Cream (light) Oil: Votary (favorite brand so far, but I like variety from the L&R subscription box) Sunscreen: Tia'm (thicker) followed by about 10 Korean sunscreens I may prefer depending on the day/preferred finish. Masks: I'm From Honey Mask, I'm From Mugwort Mask
Thanks for sharing your favorites! I’m quite curious about that Laurel & Reed box. I’ve actually been following a few green box communities and wondering exactly if it would be worth subbing for the oils. I maintain that nobody does oils quite like the indie brands!!
I just repurchased the Stratia Liquid Gold I also use it as a serum cause I have super dry skin and Love it I also tried the new Interface moisturizer and for some reason my skin Hated it which for the life of me don’t understand smh every time I used it I would wake up with bumps on my face But I have to say Stratia customer service was Amazing I emailed them to see if I could return it because I purchased it over 30 days ago explained what happened and they immediately responded back and refunded me so for anyone reading this Stratia is such an amazing company I will always have the liquid Gold and there Rewind serum I’m so glad you talk about the brand they really have amazing products
Loved this series Alice! 💕 So many great options to choose from. Also so great you did "of all time to date". So many channels focus on new products only which ends up promoting a merry go round of sensation seeking of so so products that get hyped then never get mentioned again.
The tatcha face wash turned out to be pretty amazing for traveling. I got a travel size from Sephora birthday gift and used it over the holidays. It's great multi purpose cleanser that provides decent and gentle exfoliation while giving you a luxury feeling. It also allows me to travel with less stuff...
Laughing, because as an Adult (53), I have no time, no money and no energy!!! Most of my skincare is still inexpensive, but I do use Agency for tretinoin and hydroquinone. Happy holidays & many blessings! 🕯🎄🙏💖💖💖
When I first got really interested in my skincare routine, i purchased the Paula’s Choice 1% retinol..I went straight in with determination and well I learned the hard way that it was really strong 😂 wrecked my barrier. It was my own fault thought. I use it now and like it 😅
love this series! its a great way to sum up your thoughts on a lot of the products you tried this year, which def was less time consuming than the individual categories like last year, but great for the canon of alice in the rabbit hole favs! need to try that sulwhasoo mask, ive been sneakily adding minis of their stuff to my stylevana cart because theyre so affordable! The essential line smells Amazing, and so far no reactions! always excited for more content, and i hope your holidays are not stressful! PS update on isntree chestnut cleansing jelly- i am torn on it because of the lovely ingredients, but it doesn't emulsify all the way! I was so sad lol. have to use more of a deeper cleanser afterwards, but it gives me an excuse to use some up lol!! it also smells like vaseline quite strongly, and you have to second cleanse otherwise youll smell it on your fingers!! interested to hear your reviews of the new products you bought from them, im dying to crack into my yam toner and cream!
Haha yessss I too grab the minis from Stylevana! I can’t believe how often the Sulwhasoo mini sampler pops up in the 50% off section!? 🤯 Awh oh noooo but thank you for sharing! I think I’ll pass on it in that case, what a shame (but super glad you shared, thank you!!) My final BFCM K-Beauty order arrived last night, so I’m thinking I’ll do a fun haul/try on with everything - includes the yam products!! 😍
Omg your Backstreet Boys and clap on clap off reference really brought me back for a second 😂😂 You’ve single-handedly convinced me to give SK-II a try. People often speak as if it’s overpriced and almost any ferment product is an exact dupe..I can’t wait to try it because I do enjoy Galactomyces, so I am beyond excited. You are one of two TH-camrs I follow that have dry acne prone skin so it’s usually trial and error for me with others recommendations but yours are usually great for my skin!
Oddly enough the fresh soy face cleanser irritates my skin so bad 😂 my absolute favorite cleanser of all time is the tatcha rice wash. The first time I used it I never went back and I haven’t bought a different one since😂
The Fresh soy face wash would sting my skin too! No wonder they’re always giving it out as a sample 😅 And I love how thick the Tatcha Rice Wash is, because it lasts soooo long! And smells delicious 🥰
Hi Alice :D great video as always :) I was wondering if you would do a video on your best tips for enyoing your skincare routine and make it feel more like a ritual than a chore?
I just love the indie lee coq 10 toner, I picked it up because of your recommendation, love how soft it makes my skin feel, wish it had a longer explanation date specifically for the amount of product u get with this. Your videos are the best!
Alice, I've been binge-watching your videos and I really enjoy your channel! I know you've talked about how much you love the GrandePout lip treatment and Kopari Lip Glossy, but would you ever do a comprehensive lip treatment/ balm video? I wonder what you think about some of the other popular lip products available.
Ah, cucumbers. I like them, especially pickles but the fresh ones do like to repeat, lol. I do appreciate your year-end videos. It's nice to see all the different products even if I'm highly unlikely to use them.
Ahh so happy to hear about the Alpyn Beauty cleanser is a win for you. I think I would love that as a morning cleanse (although been loving the Lagom gel to water in the am). Total random. But I think perhaps I have been over doing it with exfoliation etc. I know dependent on skin but wanted to gather thoughts. Does 1 to 2 times a week mean AHAs and BHAs or combined? I have been using lactic acid twice a week, retrinal like 2 to 3 , and the new Paula's choice bha every other day.. lol
Tbh I think it really depends. Not just on skin hardiness, but on what else is going on in your routine. I used to use BHA on alternating days and AHAs once a week, but I had to drop that rate down significantly after I switched to adapalene!
I LOVEE the Alpyn cold cream cleanser, I’m so glad you love it too!! All time holy grail for me. I don’t have very many of those so that’s saying a lot!!
I will never go without SK-II! I bought the jumbo size at Costco and it last me around eight months using it twice daily. If you break down the $200 price, it’s like I bought a $25 toner for 8 months which doesn’t seem too bad to me.
So much fun so many new products that I need to check out. I wonder why dermatology’s physical tinted sunscreen/moisturizer doesn’t get more love because I like it a lot better than the universal. I have a small reaction to the universal but I have no reaction to the physical sunscreen and it doesn’t have such a glowy effect which for older skin is a good thing. 🤗
I found your channel when reading through comments on another channel. So glad I did. I'm happy to see a video on moderately to higher end priced products. I've tried so, so many affordable products that ended up in the trash. My sensitive, rosacea prone skin doesn't seem to like affordable.
Great review. I am definitely going to look at some of the products mentioned. I was inspired by your video on Sk11 a few month’s ago and am hooked. I am always dealing with skin tone issues growing up and still living in S FL when sunscreen was not a thing yet, (age comes in here😊), and I feel it really helps. The first one I bought included the lotion which says to use as the first step which I do and was wondering your opinion on that if you’ve tried it. Thanks for all your in-depth reviews. I always learn something.
Yes! Did you get the set? I like that it comes practically free in their sampler sets, but I don’t think I would intentionally seek it out. The real magic seems to be in the facial treatment essence! 😍
You: “Cucumbers are my least favourite vegetable. When I go to Subway, I ask for all the veggies except for cucumbers” Me: *Gasps*. I’m Legit the opposite. I order extra cucumbers because it’s my favourite vegetable 😂. There are so many of my faves in here! Stratia LG is a Holy grail (Krave Beauty’s Great Barrier Relief used to be a close #2, but I kinda fell off with the brand. In a distant 3rd was Evenprime’s Barrier serum) Peach & Lily’s Glass skin mist 😍. Indie Lee (and Osea) is a brand I haven’t checked out that is on my list. Also! You made me want to try that Beekman 1802 mist! I’m such a fan of those bi-phase toners/essences/mists lol, probably because I love Sioris’ so much. And I didn’t know that Beekman mist was people’s fave product from the brand. I thought the drops were. I’ve only tried their bloom whatever moisturizer, which I got for 50% off during Ulta’s 21 days of beauty (I’m still upset I fell asleep and missed out on that Peach & Lily serum). And honestly, it wasn’t even worth the 50% off price I got it for. I still have A LOT left in that bottle.
I absolutely ❤ you and your channel (is that what you call it, a channel?). Thank you for the wonderful suggestions. I am in love with Beauty of Joseon because of your recommendations. Hope you and your sweetie have a happy holiday!
Ahh BoJ is one of my favorite brands of all time; so happy you’re enjoying their products! 🤩 And thank you so much, hope you have a wondrous holiday also!! 🥰
Speaking of ginseng cosmetics, LG Sooryehan made a ginseng line of products including the first essence. It's commonly known as the more affordable mid-range version of the department store brand, The History of Whoo.
I've used both sk2 and numbuzin 3, i think numbuzin 3 comes pretty close. It seems like numbuzin wanted to be like sk2 but didn't know what to use, so they added everything.
I just let out such a big chuckle in reading that 🤣 - YES, it does seem their strategy was “just put everything in there” LOL! Im really excited to try it!
Hi Alice your skin is beautiful. Are you wearing foundation in this video? If so,can you share what it is? My skin is pretty good but I’m always looking for a natural, glowing, light weight foundation. Thank you and Merry Christmas☺️
Yes! This is the Haus Labs foundation. I wear it pretty lightly and absolutely love the soft dewy finish Thank you, hope you have a very merry Christmas too! 🎄
The DDG eye serum is so effective and you are not exaggerating about the year. I just finished the bottle that came with my LED mask, which I got early LAST DECEMBER.
YUUUP. There is a part of me that wonders if they overfilled the bottles (I won’t complain if that’s the case lol). But if not, I guess it just actually lasts that long? Wild!
Skin care should be for all. "high end products" when most of them Use common ingredients does not justfy the high price. Thank God for Korean products and how accessible they are in 2023.
Loved this vid and this series! I was so curious to see whether you would do a separate Best of Indie? I would also love to see an Ara’s Favorites? More, we just always want more 🤣🤣🤣 Have an amazing holiday season, beautiful!
My original plan was a separate indies video, but some of them just ended up in the high end video instead. Like with Geek & Gorgeous, I’ve always called them an affordable brand - but it’s true that they’re only affordable if you spend a lot at once (for the free shipping). Some have pointed that out and hence I grouped them here lol. The word “affordable” REALLY is so very relative 😅 Ohhhh I want an Ara’s favorites video!! That would be so fun 🤩
With sunscreen I'm obsessed and miss it but my skins been annoying so I haven't been using it. However when I do, I use so much my mom thinks my skin looks shiny, so I think I need to use a little less not too much less tho. Haha 😄
I think sunscreens are the one type of product which I am a bit more willing to pay more for if they're said to be good. As of now, I am kinda already spending 50~60 ish USD on my mineral sunscreens as Paula's Choice and Dr G's mineral sunscreens are imported and becomes as expensive as Tatcha's silk sunscreen. If Tatcha gets imported and the price barely changes, I actually might try it.
Funny how I’m half thru video and I’m using Indie Lee Toner, Peach & Lily Glass Veil and even the Koparii lip balm I have to try, All from your recommendations and love all! Not even done video… may be more! Thank you! ❤️ You don’t like cucumbers or pickles!?!? 💔😂
Ohhh yes those are such great products!! 🤩 Happy to hear you’re enjoying them 😃 Haha yeah, it’s not an outright hatred for cucumber/pickle - I’ll eat a sandwich that has them. But if I’m asked “do you want pickles?” Then the answer is “nah” lol
Next time you do high end you should try the Tata Harper superkind line. It’s one of the few high end lines that I think is definitely worth the money. My guess is the bifida in it.
@@AliceintheRabbitHole yeah can’t say there aren’t more affordable options compared to it but it’s soooo nice and it doesn’t have the massive amounts of essential oils that her products tend to have!
I love the Indie Lee coQ10 toner, it has some of my favorite packaging and I love the scent. I'm all about an olfactory experience in my skincare. It didn't make me think citrus, but I suppose it is. It's so much better than a typical citrus scent though! The Osea line smells like pinesol to me 😂 citrus is so hard to do right.
Yeah that’s SO true. It’s also not just another orange scent (which brands seem to aim for when making vitamin c serums. Oranges aren’t even the best source of vit c AAAH lol!!) I don’t like pinesol skincare ugh. Smelled it before, trying to avoid it going forward!!
I liked it! I don’t think there’s a Tatcha cleanser that I’ve disliked (the oil cleanser is nice too). It’s funny as the rest of the line is hit or miss for me personally!
I saw that alpine cold cream cleanser at marshals tonight but I didn't pick it up to look at the ingredients list or price but I did see it cause I was like weird a cold cream cleanser. They had a few alpine beauty items alot of Kapari skincare the face wash water cream and some others. Awh u got the cute sk11 I was looking at that a few weeks ago. I love it so much I still can't believe it I used it for 6 months straight and my hyperpigmentation was gone I couldn't believe it. Need to get more guess I'll use my Xmas Sephora card I get every year on that.
WHOA you found Alpyn at Marshall’s?? Aw man, I was just there the other day - sounds like I need to go back! Any chance you remember seeing Kopari’s body washes? I realized I am low in the shower this AM. Such an annoying feeling after all the BF/CM sales lollll
@@AliceintheRabbitHole yes I bought one of the body washes coconut and latte stimulate and hydrate one in the pink and white squeeze tube I found the Iope rentinal 1% too I thought that was an interesting find it looked good but I didn't end up buying it I think it is called retinol 1 % essense but comes in a squeeze tube with a pump like a serum or cream . I need to go see what I can find at TJ Max tonight. Yeah I was suprised to see some of the stuff I would other stuff I wasn't so suprised. It's like u should never pay full price for anything cause it will be at marshals or TJ in a few months or onsale I have learned . O the Lord Jones CBD mantle cream is on Sephora for 27$ the full size I have never seen it so cheap I think the mini was 12$ I paid alot more got it onsale and 20% off and still wasnt that cheap 27$ for a 75$ cream is crazy.
I haven't tried the dermalogica milk pholiant yet but I love the daily microphoilant I thought about getting a mini of the milk one now they came out with it to try. I find the Dr D Gross exfoliating pads so highly perfumed I wish they would make a frangerance free version of it. I have tried alot of perricon but haven't tried the cold plasma
Have you tested Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence, that is made of fermented green tea? It is soo expensive but would love to hear your take on that one. :)
I’ve realized that I don’t really understand what evening out skin tone mean 🙈 Does that mean reducing redness? Or post acne pigmentation? Or all of it at once?
Alice have you tried the TO hair serum on your hair or eyebrows? My hair seems to be growing like crazy after using it. I was wondering if it is just Placebo. Idk how peptides could work so fast and so well.
I haven’t, but I’ve heard that from others! I’m really, *ridiculously* excited for more research into peptides. I think it’s a very promising family of ingredients that we have only scratched the surface of!
From memory, I think that one is 0.3% retinol? (Double check me there) It was really a great option for me for a couple years, although I admit I never paid close to full price! It’s a good option yes, but personally I like the blend in PC’s (and if your skin gets along with it, I’d move up in strength-at least in time!) Hope that helps?
I had a bad reaction to the Dermalogica Milkfoliant, which was really too bad cause it left my skin so smooth - yet so burned, clearly I’m allergic to some of its ingredients. 💔💔🥺
Omg YES I LOVE the Tatcha Rice Wash! It can be used as a gentle exfoliant, OR what I like to do is work a pea-sized amount together in my palms with a touch of water to make the most LUXURIOUS foaming creamy cleanser 😍 AND the smell is nostalgic for me, it smells like those little Japanese rice candies with the edible wrapper in the red and green box (Botan rice candy) 😌🍬
They’re very, very pricey imo. Personally, I wouldn’t buy it. If I wanted to go the STRONGEST, I’d go to a doc and get a script for tret (which is active and doesn’t rely on conversion anyway) That’s just me though
@@AliceintheRabbitHole thank you for your answer. They are pricey but when you look at their ingredient deck, it’s small. They are anhydrous so don’t rely on preservatives. I know many people think that parabens aren’t a problem but they are known endocrine disrupters so I’d prefer to avoid them. There are parabens in prescription tretinoin
Oils and silicones in lots of these products why don't they break people out like me ??😢😢.....wish there were more without these ingredients even Jojoba oil gives me horrible acne for some reason! Always looking for moisturizers with actives for acne that are oil free and silicone free....challenging.
Yep. It’s that it’s a complex (percent of retinol plus something else). If you look closely in their advertising, it says “2.5% retinol with green tea”. They do not actually disclose how much retinol WITHOUT green tea is in the product (but per the reviews that say it is gentle, it’s likely not much). I cannot tell you how much it annoys me that companies can get away with such confusing terminology.
Hmm. Have you changed anything else in your routine? They do need a low pH to work, so I’d check and see if you’re applying anything first or not drying your skin off after cleansing (totally on my mind given tonight’s video lol) But as an alternative, is your skin in a better place? I don’t have as dramatic of effects with products anymore - which I think makes sense as my skin is overall improved?
With both the P&L and Indie Lee, I’ve purchased them at 50% off via the 21 Days of Beauty/Love Your Skin. That’s the time to get ‘em haha. I just pulled out my D’Alba today - going to give it another whirl!
The new formulation is SO good. Really the only catch is that it’s hard to find (and the fragrance might deter some, albeit it’s the same story with Sulwhasoo!)
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Thanks great video....I always think Perricone products are good, don't know why....I bought the Medicube Triple Deep Erasing Cream the other night. Kind of mad at myself, as now I CANNOT rationalize another cream. How many glasses of wine did that take to buy?....I hope! I love it. Do you know the Stylevana products I bought before Thanksgiving have not even been Shipped yet?!!!!
I adore the new Dermalogica powder cleanser! If anyone has sensitive skin and typical exfoliation irritates your skin, I 100% recommend. It makes your skin SO soft!

For mists I have to shout out the d'alba first spray serum. It's so nice as skincare or on top of makeup. It's bi phase and has a lovely scent.

The Fresh soy face wash would sting my skin too! No wonder they’re always giving it out as a sample 😅
And I love how thick the Tatcha Rice Wash is, because it lasts soooo long! And smells delicious 🥰
Hi Alice :D
great video as always :)
I was wondering if you would do a video on your best tips for enyoing your skincare routine and make it feel more like a ritual than a chore?
Ah that’s a great idea!
Good video and selection of products. Hope your feeling better. This year flew by. Thanks.
GOSH it did, ugh!! Where does the time go 😅
And thank you, I finally am hooray 😁
I got a back up and replacement of the Peace Out Moisturizer for 9.99 at TJMaxx!! I was happy as could be!! Hope it's not being discontinued!!
😱😱😱 omggg!!
TJ Maxx finds make me happy/nervous as well LOL! I hope not; I thought it was quite well received?
I just love the indie lee coq 10 toner, I picked it up because of your recommendation, love how soft it makes my skin feel, wish it had a longer explanation date specifically for the amount of product u get with this. Your videos are the best!
So happy to hear you’re enjoying it!! That might be one of my most repurchased - it’s such a joy to use and my skin seems to adore it!
I feel like I should love them! I love pickled…everything else lol. Glad you enjoyed the series, it was fun to do ☺️
Ahh so happy to hear about the Alpyn Beauty cleanser is a win for you.
That is a good way of looking at it! That Costco bottle really is gigantic haha
Thank you for watching! 😃
You always have the most thorough skincare videos - thank you!
You: “Cucumbers are my least favourite vegetable. When I go to Subway, I ask for all the veggies except for cucumbers”
Me: *Gasps*.
In a distant 3rd was Evenprime’s Barrier serum)
Peach & Lily’s Glass skin mist 😍.
Great brand, and reasonable prices!!
Ahh BoJ is one of my favorite brands of all time; so happy you’re enjoying their products! 🤩 And thank you so much, hope you have a wondrous holiday also!! 🥰
ENJOYED! Fun & very helpful
great vid! love that hair w that sweater!
Thank you! ☺️
Speaking of ginseng cosmetics, LG Sooryehan made a ginseng line of products including the first essence. It's commonly known as the more affordable mid-range version of the department store brand, The History of Whoo.
👀
Thank you so much for sharing this!
Paula’s Choice products actually work!!
I wear it pretty lightly and absolutely love the soft dewy finish
Thank you, hope you have a very merry Christmas too!
Wild!
Indie Lee is freaking amazing. I bought it on your recommendation and keep buying it! Thanks❌️⭕️
So happy to hear you love it! And I appreciate that it’s one we often see in the Ulta sales haha 😍
More, we just always want more 🤣🤣🤣
Have an amazing holiday season, beautiful!
The word “affordable” REALLY is so very relative 😅
Ohhhh I want an Ara’s favorites video!! That would be so fun 🤩
With sunscreen I'm obsessed and miss it but my skins been annoying so I haven't been using it. However when I do, I use so much my mom thinks my skin looks shiny, so I think I need to use a little less not too much less tho. Haha 😄
Your skin is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! ☺️
I got the Beekman 1802 spray on a Celebrity cruise! Really like it. Going to be sad when it's done as its US only
Oh no!! I hope they expand internationally; they have such a hit especially with that mist
I use BB face base under my eyes before makeup. Luv it❌️⭕️
I think sunscreens are the one type of product which I am a bit more willing to pay more for if they're said to be good.
Thank you! ❤️
You don’t like cucumbers or pickles!?!? 💔😂
Ohhh yes those are such great products!! 🤩 Happy to hear you’re enjoying them 😃
Haha yeah, it’s not an outright hatred for cucumber/pickle - I’ll eat a sandwich that has them. But if I’m asked “do you want pickles?” Then the answer is “nah” lol
Next time you do high end you should try the Tata Harper superkind line. It’s one of the few high end lines that I think is definitely worth the money. My guess is the bifida in it.
Ooh really? I used to love her oils, but I found more affordable options that work. Can’t deny that I did enjoy them though!
Oranges aren’t even the best source of vit c AAAH lol!!)
I don’t like pinesol skincare ugh. Smelled it before, trying to avoid it going forward!!
Love Tatcha rice face cleanser one of my favorite products. I'm using tatcha rice polish also, would love to hear your thoughts 🤔.
I liked it! I don’t think there’s a Tatcha cleanser that I’ve disliked (the oil cleanser is nice too). It’s funny as the rest of the line is hit or miss for me personally!
You picked some amazing products. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. ❌️⭕️
Thank you! Hope you do too, it’s so close now! 😃🎄🎅
Yesssssss, babyyyyyyyyy! SK2 is ridiculously good! I get the mini which is cheaper. Oh 👶 baby!
It’s so good 😭😭
I saw that alpine cold cream cleanser at marshals tonight but I didn't pick it up to look at the ingredients list or price but I did see it cause I was like weird a cold cream cleanser.
@@AliceintheRabbitHole yes I bought one of the body washes coconut and latte stimulate and hydrate one in the pink and white squeeze tube I found the Iope rentinal 1% too I thought that was an interesting find it looked good but I didn't end up buying it I think it is called retinol 1 % essense but comes in a squeeze tube with a pump like a serum or cream
The SKII 11oz is 199 on Costco - ug
I might buy that Paula’s and alternate with my Tretinoin
I’ve realized that I don’t really understand what evening out skin tone mean 🙈 Does that mean reducing redness? Or post acne pigmentation? Or all of it at once?
Yes all of it! I didn’t know either until I observed it on myself lol
How does the Beekman mist compared to the sioris mist? I've been wanting to try it
They are very similar to me, with the Beekman mist being a larger bottle and in some ways I do prefer the ingredients (in the Beekman)
I know the skin changes,so if youve tries a product before and get it again after not using it for a while, do you still need to patch test?
Would you say Peter thomas roth retinol was worth the money 💰? Is it effective like Paula's choice?
From memory, I think that one is 0.3% retinol? (Double check me there) It was really a great option for me for a couple years, although I admit I never paid close to full price!
It’s a good option yes, but personally I like the blend in PC’s (and if your skin gets along with it, I’d move up in strength-at least in time!)
Hope that helps?
We would love to see a video with you and Ara 😍

What does cannabis do in eye the cream?
Wish I could afford to try these... But, Alas!
Some of the prices get uuuup there! But I do swear by consistency and figuring out our needs - high end isn’t the only answer, most certainly ☺️
Would love your thoughts on Truth Treatments retinol. They have 1% & 5% and their formulas are truly pure
They’re very, very pricey imo. Personally, I wouldn’t buy it. If I wanted to go the STRONGEST, I’d go to a doc and get a script for tret (which is active and doesn’t rely on conversion anyway)
That’s just me though
@@AliceintheRabbitHole thank you for your answer. They are pricey but when you look at their ingredient deck, it’s small. They are anhydrous so don’t rely on preservatives. I know many people think that parabens aren’t a problem but they are known endocrine disrupters so I’d prefer to avoid them. There are parabens in prescription tretinoin
Does anyone experience breakout with Beekman milkshake mist?
Oils and silicones in lots of these products why don't they break people out like me ??😢😢.....wish there were more without these ingredients even Jojoba oil gives me horrible acne for some reason! Always looking for moisturizers with actives for acne that are oil free and silicone free....challenging.
So.... if 1% is the highest over the counter retinol, how can companies like Cosmedica (and others) sell a 2.5% retinol? Does anyone know?
The alpha beta peel pads aren’t leaving the great results it used to. Is there a step I’m missing that makes them as effective as before?
Hmm. Have you changed anything else in your routine? They do need a low pH to work, so I’d check and see if you’re applying anything first or not drying your skin off after cleansing (totally on my mind given tonight’s video lol)
But as an alternative, is your skin in a better place? I don’t have as dramatic of effects with products anymore - which I think makes sense as my skin is overall improved?
You have a strong American accent!
How come a mist costs so much money? It's a mist. Yeah I love Beekman mist too. It doesn't give me a glow but d'Alba does. I'm loving that one.
With both the P&L and Indie Lee, I’ve purchased them at 50% off via the 21 Days of Beauty/Love Your Skin. That’s the time to get ‘em haha.
I just pulled out my D’Alba today - going to give it another whirl!
Fresh Soy cleanser burns my sensitive skin. Also the texture is creepy, like snot!
I'm surprised donginbi beat out sulwhasoo
The new formulation is SO good. Really the only catch is that it’s hard to find (and the fragrance might deter some, albeit it’s the same story with Sulwhasoo!)
@@AliceintheRabbitHole but what about the abundance of compound K in sulwhasoo?
So Great!...but could you list the name of the products so one can take a screen shot and print them out?
Yeah I think I might go back and do that. Was worried I’d run out of space but it might be helpful indeed!
Hi..❌️⭕️
God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You is N'Sync not BSB 😭
NOOOO did I mix up my 90’s boy bands 😱 (the shame lol!)
🤣
