And I think that you not having an "aesthetic" house or life makes it easier to watch because you just remind people that it's okay to be human and that you don't have to have pristine or immaculate pinterest things to be happy. It's super refreshing and don't leave you with a sense of not being good enough... it feels like going over to your friends house. Ya know?
I MUCH prefer this kind of content over the all-white aesthetic/luxury/diva/trying too hard to be relatable youtuber content. You are genuinely relatable -- and honestly as a busy 30 year old woman, your channel is one of the only ones I watch on youtube anymore. My husband (who is not a fan of youtube) loves your channel too!
My vet recommended the water in cat food because one of my cats has long hair. Not only are cats dehydrated, but the extra water helps my boy pass hair through his system more easily.

One of these years you should plan a Utah national park road trip :) I’d suggest May or September, you can hit Bryce Canyon, Zion of course, and then head up to Moab and Canyonlands! Moab is my favorite. You can also hit the Grand Canyon if you haven’t been there, it’s only about 3 hours from Zion.
this was honestly really inspirational and motivating for me to get out of my rut and to be productive. things like getting ready, walking your pet, cleaning up the house are self care things but are often overlooked. thank you sarah!!
Sarah I love the day to day life stuff and the cooking videos, I always want to make what you cook. I prime my hooded eyelids with powder, too. Honestly, that works better for me than a primer. Eyeshadow stays on without a problem. Plus, you don't need an extra product just for priming your eyelids. :) Win win!
Also thank god you don't live an extravagant TH-camr lifestyle and not everything is aesthetic af. It's exhausting, quite frankly. Thanks for keeping it real.

I really appreciate the openness around your SAD! I know it may be hard to believe, but I have SAD in the summer and very warm and sunny days. Generally speaking, if it's sunny I feel anxious and depressed. I have been diagnosed by a doctor but it's rare obviously for my version. However, you talking about it makes me feel less alone!
Me too since I was a teenager I’ve been feeling depressed every summer or hot day, but come fall, winter or spring as long as it’s cold or chilly and I’m good to go. I looove thunderstorms and rainy cloudy days. Everyone thinks I’m an odd ball 😅but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Unfortunately I live in Texas so it’s pretty sunny and hot most days😢

This video was really nice, not only because it's different and refreshing, but witnessing someone else get some joy or comfort from the simple every day things reminds me that the little stuff, the things that seem mundane or unspectacular can be what gets you through the really hard days where you feel like you're floating in a nebulous of...blah or sad or numb. Just maintaining your living space, making it more homey, quality time with a cat and a being proud of a nice meal you made- aren't these core things that make everyone feel a little better? Sorry this is longer than I meant it to be, but I guess I just want to say thanks for the reminder and encouragement.
