stop i absolutely loved the editing and voice over for this video! like it still retains the jaymoji humor and style, but theres a bonus sense of...refinery? polish? idk the word but what matters is that this stream was great, the video was great, you're doing great!

Jay, I found a strat for level 25 that can save a few seconds in the beginning. You need to go to the area where the ticket is (under the rotating platforms after you spawn), and then grab the key, and hop on the part of the rail that pokes out. It's very accurate, but done right it saves time.
Yeah about being beaten I kind of did and some other people did too. That means we all have room for improvement but that is fine. Gl with next run!

I remember sector 5, it's gonna take him around 3 play throughs to learn where all the levels are.
I'm pretty sure that Splat Bombs along with Curling Bombs instantly break the Zapfish out.
The sonic colors aquarium park theme in the background brought back some nostalgia.

Octostomp is easy just lure the octostomp near the edge, and just drop down and aim to shoot the buckle off and done.
Also use dodgerolls for faster shooting
Splatoon Speedrunning Strats pt 2! Hope ya listening jay.
So on all of the plazas on each map, you can do maneuvering better and shave 3.5 minutes.
On the first stage you can jump down from the narrow walkway onto the platform below, saving 5 sec. also on my the first shielded enemy, you can do better maneuvering, and can save you up to 5 sec. also if you do levels 2 and 3 first you’ll have enough money to upgrade your hero shot,
And break the boxes faster, doing this as soon as you can saves time for the whole run by about 3 min.
3rd stage, you can do maneuvering much faster and skip an extra ink pole cycle, saving 6.65 seconds. And also doing maneuvering faster after that to reach a extra cycle, AGAIN. Doing this will save all around 6.65 x 2.
I have no other shortcuts in my head because I haven’t played the switch in 3 weeks, so I’ll do this again, and I’ll come back prepared. See ya!

The final boss gives me ptsd. I didn't know upgrading your weapon was a thing you could do when I first played this.
Here's a tip that should help you with octostomp Neo try throwing a bomb right near the bosses buckle after about 10 or 5 then that thing is gone for real. It works.
Jay I have good strats for you
So at 11:32 at that section you can go left, then drop down in the middle, there will ALWAYS be a platform down there,you go down there then squid jump back up, and the big lip guy will be right in front of you. Doing that strat saves about 10sec.
That level that you struggled with, has a LOT of strats to go fast, like there’s 5 more shortcuts on that stage
Octoleppin Zepplin- so on this stage, if you do the teleports just faster you can get a faster cycle on the row of bullets that shoots out, saving about 15 sec.
Quick Question Jay, do you use damage boosting on the first boss? if you don’t, then you can do damage boosting on those sprinklers in the first boss. And it makes the stage way easier.
Also at the final boss, on the final phase, you can send the fists back a lil bit faster, saving about 20 sec.
On the first section, you can grind to get the the curling bombs and the upgrade, and saves about 30 sec.
On the octoling fight, with the little chubby fishes, you can change the one you want to go to first, on both of the three, and that will save you about 2 minutes
I would do this more, but that would be longer than a I survived book, so I will not be doing that.

I never spent my stuff on upgrades though so I was cool.
jaymoji I didnt ugraded my hero shot when I defeated the boos for frist time so youre not alone (I didnt even know ugrading youre weapon was an option)
