rad dan is an awesome guy. he has moments of brilliance drifting, however he is plagued by mistakes that keep him from truly shining. i hope he doesn't give up.
Sort of miss the cars of the early days that were just more normal but cool builds. That being said its great to see how far the competition has come in general!
I was laughing when James Dean for each OMT was the winner but judges decided to OMT again. Im not a professional judge of drift of course, but this case was clearly understandable. Guys from US writes comments here that FD is like WWE but in drift, so now I understand why these cases happen
Imagine you're a driver who never makes it to the Top 32 or barely does and now we have just tripled your viewership and given you 2-3X battles if you only did the Seeding 16 a couple times through the year. Or you could get 8 Qualifying laps. I am not sure that logic follows.
@@formuladrift yes there is that point too...as a new and different format causes some confusion over time let's see how the pilots take advantage of these opportunities to have more battles and be able to battle with the pilots in front
@@bimas.e87 To put in perspective, we know from the way deals are struck, that airtime is a major factor in funding. In Qualifying, you might get a singular or secondary lap in a broadcast that has much less viewership than tandem matches and then you are done. In this format, you are still granted at least two laps + practice is filmed and if you win your first battle, you can get 2, 3 and possible 4 additional battles before we even get to the Main Top 32 and that is without even considering how much that high caliber battling does to driver skill overtime. If you make it to 32, all you need to do is win one battle and now you are in the Top 24, so I think overall it is a better product for fans and better for drivers in the medium and long term.
@@formuladrift yes, thank you, now I understand better the format has its logic... yes, for the fans it is much better to have more battles and more spectacle and for the pilots as it serves as training too... thank you for the best explanation of the format
Diego higa foi muito roubado FD e tão grande mas o juízes não está do msm tamanho da competição pq ja não e a primeira q o Brasil e roubado na fórmula drifit principalmente o Higa lamentável 😢

Higa is a monster, lock at this mooooves!
Isn’t this the second time Taylor Hull has run someone over then hit them again . . . In that same spot

Conner shanahan was a suprise to me what he is in fd now.
Diego was robbed...
Yes man
Fields follow was significantly better in the omt.

I'm very sorry that Dean lost...
I'm looking forward to the next game👍
@fórmulaDrift vamos procurar uns juízes a altura da competição porque assim não dá..
That Poor Milwakee m18 under Conor's car
This new format only serves to help the same drivers to always be at the top and always have more prominence

It's always the drivers with the biggest sponsors who get picked to advance. So predictable, so boring.
Feal is not a sponsor. They had two placed on the box, have almost zero association with FD
Sounds like a hater that has no clue what he/she Is talking about
All the people that have the biggest sponsors always win because the biggest sponsors pick them because there the best
You're not going to get a 50k sponsor deal by being middle rait
Minowa hits a cone in the chase and still wins?
Daddy's money strong.
Correct. Minowa is favored by Jim Liaw. FD is the WWE of motorsports!
@@MisterMonsieur thats nascar. FD just has biased judges.
@@VjRj84 F1 and NASCAR have legit rivalries. FD really is like WWE. They advance the guys with the biggest sponsors to keep them in the game longer.
@VjRj84 I've never heard some call Nascar the WWE of motorsports, would you care to elaborate as to why you think that?

Can you guys put out a version without the announcers just want to hear the cars or just less talking please
Turek was definitely at fault
caralho em FD vacilação total
Conner was robbed.

Not even worth watching, we already knew who the judges are going to advance regardless. FD is the WWE of motorsports. 🙄
I agree it is very predictable, but not scripted like wwe
@@sr-Chewy Not scripted, but all the same. It's always the same guys at the top, despite obvious errors.
Some good face/heel personal stuff would probably be fun to see in drifting actually
@@MisterMonsieur New judges requested. Same complaints. Weird.
@@formuladrift Oh, sure. Rearranged furniture, same results. Very "weird." 🙄
