For all you guitarists interested in learning the song, he is using C Mauna Loa tuning - CGEGAE (low to high - with a capo. If that helps.

Cory and others: I did work out Ka Wailele O Nu'uanu in tab - not perfect by a long shot - but it does pretty much sound right. If you get Makana and anyone else who has rights to the song to give permission, I will be happy to send it to you.
