Lovely video! Thank you very much for not adding any music. I enjoyed being able to hear the sounds (including the birds chirping) that one would hear if they were doing this walk too. Well done!

It was 2018 that the bridge was refurbished at a cost of £3.6 million. Extensive repairs had to be done. The road deck was replaced. And at the time the works was in progress a scaffold viewing platform was in place to see the work they did through porthole type windows. It was repainted iron red as this was meant to be the original colour back in 1781. It's a beautiful place. The Darby (Abraham Darby built the bridge) family grave is in the grounds of Holy Trinty Church in Coalbrookdale. The bridge I beautifully lit at night too

It's crazy to think that this iconic work could have been taken down.

Thank you for sharing this lovely video. Ironbridge is such a beautiful town. I was last there nearly 20 years ago but hope to return again soon on my way through to Wales. ❤

Very nice but do they really have that many birds chirping everywhere?

yes I lived there. But just outside you have Woodside slum, the use to come down iron bridge and steal from cars or cause trouble, Inner city trash moved in.
