I am in US from a decade and my recommendation is please don’t carry any food items which can grow ( seeds /lentils especially like Jeera/mustard/rice/lentils/coconut ) as these are considered agriculture related and are strictly prohibited and you will be scrutinized at entry point and on every entry and exit from there during international travel ..In US you get everything as long as you are in east and west coast almost similar to India in terms of groceries !!All the best and safe journey !!

We cut it very fine and add rice flour , hing (asafoetida) , salt , coarse dhania powder . And mix with some water and make a thick batter and spread on hot tawa and drizzle oil and fry like chillas to eat with rice .

We almost cried when the camper van was taken away. We sold santro and bought XUV5oo, But still we cried and miss a lot when our santro was sold. We were not happy with our Big luxury XUV. Hi, I have been watching your vlogs for quite some time. We were in US for the last 6 years. When we went for the 1st time, we took rice, dal and spices but at Abu Dhabi airport, we were detained for a while and they took out rice and jeera from our luggage. You get everything there, sometimes more than what we get here at the grocery stores. I just wanted to share my experience. I am pretty sure, everything will fine for your travel.

We almost cried when the camper van was taken away. We sold santro and bought XUV5oo, But still we cried and miss a lot when our santro was sold. We were not happy with our Big luxury XUV. Hi, I have been watching your vlogs for quite some time. We were in US for the last 6 years. When we went for the 1st time, we took rice, dal and spices but at Abu Dhabi airport, we were detained for a while and they took out rice and jeera from our luggage. You get everything there, sometimes more than what we get here at the grocery stores. I just wanted to share my experience. I am pretty sure, everything will fine for your travel.

I was in the US for 4 years never liked the life there and always missed our vibrant culture. I relocated to Hyderabad In 2021 and happy now. It's better not to settle in the US.
