I don't know if it's true, but I read that Elvis longed for those days with June before he passed. The last two songs he sang were Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain and Unchained Melody. He had sang Unchained Melody just for June when they were dating. They did keep in touch into the 1970s. When she first came to Graceland Joe and Uncle Vester recognized her right away, even though they had never met her, because he kept photos of her around the home. Their love story is my favorite.
You can tell she left quite an impression on a young Elvis. Fate had other plan’s. But He alway’s wore those hat’s after, the fireworks, the horse riding they did, even the type of house he bought all was from that time in his life. He must have been so happy thinking back to the Summer before everything changed. Other than Elvis & Priscilla’s love story. June Juanico & Elvis’s is my 2nd favorite. I think he was truly happy w/ both of them.

Prima che partisse militare credo, Elvis ha avuto gli anni più belli della sua vita, June ne ha fatto parte per un periodo , fortunatissima! (Ma perché non lo ha aspettato?...) Poi , con la morte della madre ed il servizio militare....tutto è cambiato. Come dice G. Klein, Elvis non era piu lo stesso
Elvis is very very white and very very fair. His eyebrows are light and he used to use mascara to darken in until finally dying his eyelashes and eyebrows black like his hair as well. He would take tanning pills to help him tan as well. This was before he tanned
I would like to believe June was one of them. He called her a few months after she broke it off. He wanted her to meet him in New Orleans. However, she had already married. Elvis said later she married just to spite him.
