He was made in 1927, He was before mickey mouse. but Walt Disney lost the rights to ozzy (oswald) so he kinda got forgotten after, mickey and Felix rose to fame more and his cartoons weren't huge (also felix and mickey are my babies, same with bendy I love them sm). Disney got the rights back to him in 2006 and he's also in the game "epic mickey" where he has a whole story and he's grumpy lol (but it's sad reason why he's angry). I love him tho. He's also mickey mouse's brother, so their called the disney Brothers. He has a wife named ortensia the cat too. You are uneducated with Disney knowledge oswald the lucky rabbit was made by Walt Disney and ubiwerks for universal in 1927 unhappy with his current contract so he went on to start his company with oswald he soon found out he did not own oswald so he made a character we now know as mickey mouse and he vowed to own every character he made. it was not until 2006 where Disney regained oswald by trading famous sports announcer al Micheals for oswald. Disney started making merchandise of oswald and later he star in epic mickey and later he be playable in epic mickey 2 hope this helps you to know more disney knowledge
