your lessons are so good... we get music theory AND guitar fretboard theory, all in a very easy to understand way... and then you show us practical ways to use it all! bought your Landscape to Soundscape course. AMAZING.
I was just thinking the same thing. This channel is new to me and I find his lessons golden because it combines everything together to make it easier for real life application.
I've been a hobbyist on guitar for years I rarely learn other songs as weird as that sounds... I learn them to help expand my songwriting ability so essentially for inspiration... Recently I've decided to dive into theory and it's awesome to understand what I've been doing... I had no clue I've been using this trick for years... Guitar is all patterns over and over again you can use them anywhere on the fretboard really. I've been doing this for years never knew why it worked now I do. You do a great job explaining it signals puts a little bit too much in a video I find your lessons to be concise and easy to follow. You earned a subscriber cool.
Fantastic lesson! This is gonna be so useful and really helps.Hopefully, with time, I can let the fingers know what to do by feeling the melody traveling!
Antoine, thank you very very much for this lesson. I'm a sucker for these kinds of chords as I believe they are really good for your ear in distinguishing where to put them in a way that's haunting but beautiful
I'm reading minds 🙂 if you want even more actionable tips on augmented chords, go watch this other lesson next: th-cam.com/video/9SI4lLVtz4M/w-d-xo.html

Just changing to a sharp 5 on a I iv ii V on the bass makes such a cool line!
Another great lesson…you’ve got yourself a fan here and a new subscriber. Thanks for the thorough teaching and excellent production of lessons.

Thanks! My accent is French Canadian
Also the long arpeggiated opening chord of one of Johnny Winter's finest - Drown in My Own Tears from way back
Fantastic lesson. It was well worth watching . It is TH-cam at its best.
John Lennon - Isolation! As always a great lesson Antoine.
Awesome lesson. I kinda knew that stuff but it was really great to get a nice breakdown of it. Thanks and great work.
Yea I didn’t know what is called but I have played them by accident

It's my pleasure 😊
I think I heard some John Lennon - Just Like Starting Over in there too. Awesome lesson.
Yes, same exact progression! Thanks :)
Cool lesson.
Thanks for resolving it 🤣. Great lesson!
🤣 ... thanks!
Perfect❤
what is the "disco song" you mention at 3:55?
Mamma mia abba
Great lesson! BTW brother, Bowie's name is pronounced with a long O sound.
That's usually how I hear it anyway.
Great lesson. 👍 Btw. What kind of Strat is that?
Headstock is either Harley Benton or Jett
Suhr Classic Antique Stratocaster. Those are not cheap, but I love mine, it's been my main guitar for the past... 8 or 9 years I think!

Dang....I was wrong!

YOUR TONE IS GREAT.BUT HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED
USING SOME DISTORTION TO CREATE SOUNDSCAPES.e.g. early EARTH STUFF.👍🏻
Sky has some of the most epically long fingers I've ever
I still have no idea what to do with the dim chord from your lesson on them 😅
Huge
No.1 Party Anthem by the Arctic monkeys is a prime example for the use of the chord progression
John Lennon - Isolation
I like the augmented to the minor...guess I'm weird?
don't these sound oddly beautiful?
