Build Your Own Excel Layout Reports in Business Central

This video goes through the Report Layouts function in Business Central & how this can be used to create your own customised Excel layout reports. The video runs over how to export a report template, modifying the Excel spreadsheet template to make it look the way you want, then importing it back into BC and running the report. its a gamechanger! its fairly new functionality so we may see some changes yet - maybe reporting across multiple BC companies??

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out! This is a very good question, so right now this is not possible, but in the future it might be - it would be a very useful tool! For now you can use Jet to do this
