- This video shows all Game Over screen endings I was able to find in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.
Umbra is a channel for gaming videos such as Guides, Comparisons, Boss Fights, Evolutions and Lore. I cover most Nintendo releases as well as some of my favorites from other developers like Capcom and Platinum Games.

The ending with the possessed Cheshire is so sad because it implies that the painful cry is his own once the spell had worn off, distraught over what he had done while under Puca's magic.
It feels bittersweet seeing that version of game over for cereza, seeing the broken wristlet of violets can't help but wonder if it was too painful for morgona to keep onto because it reminded of her
how can a game over screen be so pretty and calming to listen to...
thats the effect of the enchanting faerie alluring illusion, just like what caused the children to be lured into the forest to become wisps or maybe im overthinking it. Props out to the music composers that made this, its incredibly well done.
These game over screens are kinda terrifying, not gonna lie.
Especially when Cheshire eats Cereza. But there's the ending that may be thinking about the alternate plot
especailly when you compare them to overall tone of whole game
Ideas for more The End screens:
"Cereza died and turned a wisp. Cheshire was able to leave his vessel, leaving a normal stuffed cat behind. Cereza scooped up her beloved toy and ran off to the hideout, as she was no longer able to use her abilities."
"Cereza failed to stop the guards and spent the rest of her life in the same cell as her mother. She knew she wanted a happy ending with her, but this isn't what she meant."
"Cereza died and was sent to Inferno. Cheshire saw an opportunity to get home and decided to followed her."
Part of me wants to see young Cereza go back into the fortress to rally the Wisps into building some kind of war machine and help them get revenge on the Faeries, maybe even go the extra mile and use the machine to rip down Puca's crappy castle.
About sending into inferno, there'll be alternate timeline that she'll be different from Bayonetta that we've known.
Ever since seeing the ending to the game, it made sense that Lukaon died and reincarnated as Luka. But also seeing Lukaon from Bayonetta 3 alive in another universe could only mean that Cereza in that universe manage to save Lukaon and reunite him with Morgana, which also means she actually sacrifice Chesire 😭
The only good thing about that is Lukaon actually helped Cereza free Rosa as promised and maybe that somehow explains French Bayonetta was with Rosa and not Jeanne.
Totally make sense😮. I think because when Viola meets Lukaon, suddenly she's teleported to the French.
Alternatively, they could have found a way to free him that wasn't at the expense of Cheshire's life
@@AzureMoebius22Just get a Malicious or a Hatred and sacrifice that instead.
The Lukaon seen in Bayonetta 3 was never actually saved by Bayonetta. He is still a spirit without a body, hence his spirit-like appearance.
@@Settsimp1 Lukaon cannot stay a spirit in Bayonetta Origins, Morgana preserved his body and put his soul into a white wolf. But the more he prolonged in the wolf's body he will lose his own conscious and be an actual wolf, which was what nearly happened to him in the end of Bayonetta Origins. Hence it wouldn't be possible for Lukaon to stay a spirit while still trap in a wolf that's why at the very end he was desperate enough to fight for it. So yes, that Lukaon Viola first encounter in Bayonetta 3 is technically alive and saved by another Bayonetta(French Bayonetta)
The Lukaon and Morgana game overs almost make it sound like they're the protagonists of the fairy tales lol
More like the alternate ending when there's no one wants to continue Cereza/Bayonetta's story.
Cheshire: "You dummie, get me back to Inferno at once or I'll chomp you to pieces!"
Now that I saw her die by Chesire, It's more depressing when he regrets and cry
Cereza's weave has been snatched and now has to wander Avalon Forest bald and edgeless.
Damn... I'm glad I never got any of these game over endings, the Cheshire one is the most effed up for me
That's really one of the Darkest ending(game over) moments of the game😱(like Fire Emblem Echoes and Engage when you're lost and give up in the final game)
I know a few people in the comments sections already pointed it out, but I love how the game overs in the game are actually bad endings.
These were all the game over endings I could find. If you know of some others please share them in the comments!
Is there a different game over screen when you try to escape the horde of faeries?
@@Mythical2005 No, you can't actually lose during that segment.
@@umbruhhh Oh ok, thank you for telling me, I find these game overs are depressing (well more morbid if you think about it) yet interesting since there are different games overs depending on the location/chapters. A huge improvement then the other Bayonetta games lol
I think there's a game over ending if you get caught by the black fog in the pursuance tir na nog. It happened in my first playthrough so I can't clearly recall the whole text but I'm sure it said
something about cereza wandering for eternity in fairy illusion.
@@bogymanthedark I just retried and got this one 3:44 but maybe it's different during the story playthrough.
The one with cheshire is so sad...
Especially when you realize it was Cheshire that Cried out instead of Cereza
2:34 the scary game over in my opinion....😨
SPOILER
It's fascinating how Jeanne (almost) dies in every Bayonetta game... except in this one where the worst that could happen to her is the end of her astral projection into Avalon forest.
2:54 Evil Cheshire ate her?! 🙊🙊🙊
The pitiful cry is implied to be from Cheshire after finding out he killed or eaten his only friend
2:45
WAS THAT THE BITE OF 24
THE SHADOW REMAINS CAST!!!
Somehow more brutal than the mainline games, they drag her body into a glass coffin
Thinking about Luka’s strength being gained, with the silhouette of his form that we saw in Bayonetta 3, what if Lukaon was de-aged when he was cursed? Just like when Cereza was de-aged by time-device Homunculi, but for a longer period of time?
That's possible. Considering she's also been de-aged by the creator in bayonetta 1 and a demon from inferno in bayonetta 2
Wait, when was Bayonetta de-aged in Bayonetta 2? And in the first game, Bayonetta didn't exactly de-age. She just interacted with her younger self, and when the timeline was altered by Cereza becoming braver, Bayonetta didn't de-age.
@@VioletJazzThey are talking about the fight with Jubileous in Bayo 1 and a demon that de ages you in Bayo 2
3:46 welp they are fine in that part I guess
Because that's like the non-canon one.
@3:28 does that mean the Lukaon we see in Bayo3 killed his universe's Cereza?? 👀❗ or is that just him absorbing Cheshire?
No. Otherwise there would be no Viola. Answer He reincarnated in chaos
@@ИльяКоптюк-з3ж How would there be no Viola when Lukaon isn't her father?
The Lukaon we see in 3 may come from a universe where he was never cursed, or a universe where Cereza or any of Morgana's previous students succeeded in freeing him and sacrificed their demon. Freeing him only requires sacrificing a demon born under the right circumstances, Cereza had to die for Lukaon to be free because she refused to give up Cheshire.
@@danibilbocascante oh you're right, I didn't consider that 👀 I wish we had more info on the universe he came from honestly-- the faerie stuff is so interesting; I hope they explore it in future games
@@abyssalrose6948 Agreed. I like seeing Platinum pull from different mythos for Bayonetta, especially since the Angels and Demons would wear given time. Plus imagine what over the top fae bosses we'd get to fight in a mainline Bayo title
I've been waiting for one of these
THE END
Me: That's not the end.
That's why don't let her die😢
These game overs are pretty dark it makes me sad.
Oh man, this Made my day.
im so glad i never experienced most of these oh my god theyre so fucked😭😭
i think it would be so good if there was an option where you can see how she suffers and dies cus like not all of us players are kids and the animation and voice acting in this game is just so good that i wanted to see the painful game over animation
1:37 that’s kinda what happened in the first game.
Also 3:28 that is literally Sephiroth
And girlie wakes up 500, years later like: why am i old
FATALITY!
Thank you so much !!❤❤❤
No problem! Thank you for the suggestion! :)
Why do these remind me of Made In Abyss? The game that was made?
3:13 so Lukaon die next to Cereza (and Cheshire)???
So what happens if you do t set farewell to Morgana at the end?
I waited for a while but nothing happened. Same with the Morgana and Lukaon fights.
@@umbruhhh ah okay. Thanks!
Hi I ' m Rita I also play Cereza and the Lost demon I wanted to know how you got all the Cereza costumes , can you show me how you did It.🥺🥺🥺🥺
Hi Rita! Once you finish the game you will see a Costumes Menu when you rest at the saving spots. It will explain how to unlock each costume.
I have a video on my channel showing the costumes that explains how to get them just like the menu would, as well as a full 100% Guide that will help unlock some of the more difficult ones. I hope that helps!

@@umbruhhh A thousand thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
But why does she become crystallized?
I think it has to do with the magic of the faeries. In some of the death screens, it does mention Cereza being in a crystal coffin. So it's probably safe to assume the crystal coffin is the faeries' work.
Definitely the faeries. They crystalized countless of other apprentices that (***SPOILERS***)
morgana sent to the forest, and they also crystalized lukaon. The only reason he was alive was because morgana preserved his soul before leaving.
fairy magic trapped her soul
They materialize around anyone who dies in the forest, while their spirits become Wisps, which means the other apprentices are likely among the Wisps in the hideout.
@@AzureMoebius22 I think that the souls of the aprentices turns into Moon Pearls instead of Wisp
he End😱😨😨
Mission failed😂😂🤣🤣👍👍
The more I look at Cereza and Jeanne, the greater the level of respect for them. And the more I hate Viola
The heck?!😅 Why?! This game literally just revealed that Cereza was also quite the klutz in her younger years!
@@reicho3034 But she behaved with dignity. Unlike "My name is V" And when I hear it I want to shoot her in the face!!! Cereza showed modesty, temper and sympathy. Viola had good moments, but all she does is yell out of business
@@reicho3034 to be fair the cereza we see is atleast 12 or 13, viola is probably an adult maybe even 19 lol
@@Lara-vo6rp And Luka’s even older and he’s still a massive klutz.😅
@@reicho3034 i guess she got it from him haha
