Michael B I just received my ghost and goblins and your review is spot on everything you said is exactly how my ghost and goblin is and you’re right I don’t know if it’s purple or blue but it looks more purple to me as well. And I never did think about it but you are absolutely right about the joystick. It is an eight way and that’s why I was having such a hard time playing it in you. I hope they do come up with a fix for it, but as you said, I played only for a few minutes and I’ll probably only play for a few minutes ever again, because this is mainly for looks And nostalgia
Thanks man! It’s such a cool cab and hopefully a fox is coming. I had it set up to my projector last night and had a blast playing with an external joystick. It certainly is one of the coolest looking cabs they have done to date
Finally a review that mentions the joystick issue! I thought I was the only one! I bought a PS4 controller and still had issues. Super frustrating. I bought this mini Arcade because I wanted to beat the arcade from my teen years LOL And I'm making less progress than before. I feel like most reviewers are not actually trying to play the game otherwise they should have noticed quickly. You put in a diagonal input and the character freezes and you have to quickly input again. And with a game this fast-paced, you die quickly when you technically did the right thing at the right time and nothing happens. How would a fix be even possible? Apart from swapping out the joystick? And how many people would be capable of doing that at home?

New Wave's displays are infinitely better though.

The color is a very close match to my Cobalt Blue Kitchenaid mixer, so…. Cobalt Blue.
