so refreshing to see a cat that actually moves and behaves like a real cat. most media, games or otherwise depict a non-owner's IDEA of a cat. always inappropriate sounds or gazes or movements. this is well made, by people who must have spent time with cats and carefully paid attention to how they act. the way it sits down with the hind leg extending AFTER is spot on. great attention to detail
It's the jumping animation that sold me when this was first shown a while back. No exaggerated videogame nonsense, just the exact amount of momentum it needs to get on top of something, exactly like in real life.
bold of you to assume this was made by humans, according to the studio they are mostly cats and just a handful of people

😭😭😭 F, id be devastated if Cookie were gone... he's about 9 and in excellent health, but considering how my family treats him (as i dont live with them, live in a city near a busy road, cookie and co live in a rural house with a garden and very little traffic, and i wouldnt want to risk trying to train an aged outside-cat to this sort of thing because obviously), they dont change his food and water frequently enough, always pour too much food, etc 😭

This world is so unique and immersive just from the trailers. Can't wait to get my hands on this.
I saw the first trailer with my orange and white tabby in my lap. She passed in December and I'll be playing without her. But looking at the accurate animations and the cats similar build to my Moochie, I'll imagine I'm playing along with her.
We need more games from the perspective of animals.

Problem is many of them suck; i.e., Life of Black Tiger. Also many games where the pc is non-human animal are fantasy games with anthropomorphic characters. Hopefully this game is well received and will show devs that gamers can empathize with animal pcs.

That would be sweet or be a war pigeon and save soliers lived by delivering important messages while shitting on enemy soldiers.

*My orange tabby Annie died at 16 the day after Christmas last year in 2022. She looks soooo much like this cat in Stray! I'm so glad I bought this game. I got a bit teary at times so far. It's a lot of fun catting around! The team did so well bringing the cat to life with the animation! The cat behaviors are extremely well done and believable for cats! I haven't finished the game yet, since I bought the game yesterday (March 22, 2023). I miss my cat Annie so much! She was an amazing cat and very loving. She was my best friend and always knew how I was feeling. She even hugged me, and would put her paw on my face, and turn me toward her, so she can kiss me. She was very special to me. So this game is also special to me, and brings me an enormous amount of comfort. The graphics are amazing as well! Thank you to everyone at BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive, for bringing this game to reality for people to enjoy! Hello.After watching the teaser, I remembered the song: Groove Cats - Once In A Lifetime Groove.
Anna-purrrr-na.. this game gives feels. Once upon a time I lived as a brilliant goose. I was even bread that became toast in a past life, not to mention my trip as an anthropomorphic octupus in a hectic world. But now I shall cat to the best of my ability.
I'm definitely going to buy this one...
