- This instructional video is part of the manual for the Spider-Man Costume Kit. The video shows how the suit is sewn together using the pattern printed on red and blue spandex.
The new pattern shows enhanced colors and detail. It comes in 2 sizes S/M and M/L. Do note that the numbers are no longer printed on the new pattern, use this video to determine which piece goes where.

I would really like to know which fabric you used, where I can find the patterns (do you sell them?) and what experiences you gathered in the process.. i know it's a lot of work but i'd love to see some videos that help to achieve our own best results^^

@@djeikgregoire5530 four way stretch is the way to go :) in the movies they use one opec underlayer and two to four layers of mesh to give it texture (all five as the most outer layer), they have to build a muscle suit from pads underneath the opec layer, because tight spandex won't show muscle definition.
also there will be no pattern since every body is different and there can not be a one for all (morphsuits are the closest it gets - unbeatable in price by the way)
when making a suit you should make a mock up from fabric that's similar to or the same as the one you're looking forward to use, you can change the pattern to your personal needs (sagging,stretching, etc). spidey is super hard since the web pattern needs to be adjusted to things like arm circumference and fingerlength and all those really small measurements we usually forget.
since the material will be under a lot of stress it will propably break really fast - i think superman had like at least four different suits to fit the needs of filming and the underworld series broke two costumes per acrobatic fight scene.
