#2024CW32

Hi everyone,
This is my collage for week 32 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).
The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:
1. ‘Cake or dessert’ ~ What a choice! I opted for a very ostentatious red,
white and blue birthday cake.
2. ‘An instrument with keys’ ~ Not usually regarded as an instrument but
I chose a typewriter which, believe it or not, has and actually still is
used as a percussion instrument in musical compositions. It even has
it’s own orchestra, The Boston Typewriter Orchestra.
3. ‘A flying insect’ ~ I chose a bejewelled scarab beetle. Live scarabs have
wings so can fly but mine obviously can't.
4. ‘Polkadots’ ~ I piece of polkadotted paper .......is that even a word....
from my stash...
5. ‘A flag’ ~ To tie in my birthday cake I chose a flag with similar
colours.
Bonus ‘A piece of ribbon’ ~ It had to be a typewriter ribbon for this prompt, now didn’t it.
