    Bloody brilliant mate, love this kind of ride, what an adventure, that descent was immense, i know only too well how steep compared to what the gopro shows this stuff can be, all over body workout, loss of feeling in the arms and legs, awesome scenery too, this is why i love the peak district and similar locations so much, nothing else quite like it, beats all the man made stuff hands down, excellent job mate :))

    Stunning scenery Mate and great riding from the pair of you. My favourite type of ride for sure and I'm certainly aiming to get more of this done. I have the Brecon Beacons on my doorstep but I think I need to get up there and go bigger! If this doesn't sell Scotland to the MTB world then nothing will! Great video. 👍

      Thanks Mark. I agree. This for me is MTB in its purest form. I think I have the Munro bug again!

      @@streetpigeonmtb And why not Mate. Get out and do some hike a bike!

    Another cracking video 👍 Definitely planning on doing more hike a bike style stuff over summer and this just got me even more excited for it! If you're ever down in The Lake District there's plenty of natural riding here too, much of which I'm still trying to make my way through haha

      Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it. It's still one of my favourite descents. I'm hoping to find a few more like it when it's safe to travel again 👍

      @@streetpigeonmtb Been watching munro mtb bike vids for the past two weeks, thinking about getting a lecky bike for the climbing.

      I think a lot of folks use the e-bike for the climbing aspect. It would be a big advantage on lots of routes. I suppose the thing to factor in would be in places where you have to shoulder the bike. Those e-bike are some weight!

    Superb. Stealing the route for that one 🙂

      Honestly mate. It's a long day but that descent is banging. Your new steed would lap it up!

    Great video, we now planning to do this on Thursday, where did you park the car?

    • @streetpigeonmtb
      @streetpigeonmtb  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. The car park at the bottom of Glen Tilt is great. I think I used Google to find it so it is very much on the grid and easy to find. Please get back in touch and let me know your thoughts. I honestly stand by that descent being fantastic. Would be interesting to hear your take. Best of luck. Ride safe and have fun... Hope you get a better view from the top!

      @@streetpigeonmtb hi, the descent was too much for me, by the time I'd got to the top I had no energy left at all it was roasting hot and had hammered through all my water(took loads as well!!). So my ride down was more a case of I'm done in and want this over with. Gotta say though the views were incredible.

      Looks like one of the ‘easier’ climbs to do.

    • @streetpigeonmtb
      @streetpigeonmtb  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MTBScotland yes. Easy is super relative but it's actually ok. 3.5 hours to summit.
