- Set to 4k!! A second mushroom vlog I filmed this weekend just gone (5th October). The autumn season has been quite slow starting down in the south but it’s picking up now. Sorry some of the audio was bad quality/bit noisy in this, will use my microphone next time! Fungi in the video are: Winter chanterelle (Craterellus), Sulphur tuft (Hypholoma), Stinkhorn (Phallus), Yellowdrop milkcap (Lactarius), Amethyst deceiver (Laccaria), Hedgehog (Hydnum), Beefsteak fungus (Fistulina), Puffball (Lycoperdon), Liberty caps (Psilocybe), Candlesnuff (Xylaria), Birch polypore (Fomitopsis), Chanterelle (Cantharellus), Fly agaric (Amanita). This is just a guide. I am not an expert mycologist but have been mushroom foraging for 4 years and I do spend a lot of time researching and cross checking my sources. Please do your own research if you want to forage and consume wild fungi & plants. I recommend joining some forays to learn from the experts first hand!

This is a really cool video, its like being on an alien planet or something. The views will come i think! Keep trying to wake up the algorithm haha
It really does feel like that when you’re crouched down scanning the forest floor, so many amazing organisms to see when you really look!
@@Florafunga I listened to a great audiobook called entangled life I bet you have read it, really blows the mind to think about this organisms and the amount of time they have been ... Doing whatever they do haha
@@Hacktheplanet_thats a GREAT book 😍
@@Florafunga yeah I love coming across cool books, there is one I'm listening to now called the immortality key, it's all about the Eleusinian mysteries and it's connection to early Christianity (and psilocybin). I skipped the introduction by Graham Hancock because I don't really like his style but the author of this book is really genuine and industurous in his research.
Fly agaric 👀
You know, I'd rather have liberty caps than porcini's.. find them all the time and have never found a liberty cap.
Oh damn, well i’m the opposite this year, cant find a decent porcini 😂
Hi, I was at Rufus stone earlier, all I saw was one clump of sulphur tufts and only know that cos I've watched your video.. Is it sparse due to grazing animals?
Where abouts in Uk is that??
@@Florafunga New forest...Minstead.
@@deanport8273 ooh I know that area, i’d have to look for myself and see what its like.. maybe you didn’t go into the woods enough, I usually go off roading and find more fungi 😁
