I think the screwed up bars made that battle a mess. Probably messed with Figs flow. Flip flop did take it but I can see that Figs has the skill to take Flip Flop.
If you can’t count bars and go past the 16 you are given and kut into your competitor’s time, you should be disqualified (or at least count the mistake into the judging). It gives the next dude up a huge disadvantage. Mad love to everyone that battled though! 💪🏼 💥
True...I noticed the 8 bar and 24 bar discrepancies when I saw it live... I was saying 16 bars drinking n smoking ... Ive been fortunate to have meet alot of the people there and would have liked to have say hello and clink a beer bottle
Wow! Don’t know if anyone noticed but that battle at 8:42 between G-NIUS and MR. VIBE was soo good! So dope how Vibe was using that 7inch Skiratcha and killin it! Both did great, very hard to decide on that one 🙌 Also was hoping DOPEZ was gonna be in this one.
Im glad they still use vestax for battle those classic turntable i still got mine working good this battle was dope a long time i don't see Free style scratch mix i be sick lately i sure miss it
the battle had an incredibly high skill level, all competitors brought nothing but heat. the final battle was crazy good, flipflop is hands down one of THE best skratchers ever! but gnius was just absolutely ripping it that night, he had the moment, congratulations. massive thanks for everybody who made the battle possible! and last but not least #wundrkutforever! his legacy and his energy helped to make this battle even more special 🙏🙏🙏

Idk where you get the money, maybe oil since you are texan lol, but buyng all that machinery and stuff to press 25 vinyls, is mental. Scratching should be accesible
This is my passion which is priceless to me. We press regular (more accessible) records as well. Being able to get my hands on each and every part of the process has always been the goal.
This is cool but, after years of innovation there isn't a lot of new discovery in turntablism. You can pull up any old TH-cam video an essentially see the same scratch, scratch patterns and sequences.
