This 'honour' is given to the son by the father who has entrusted everything to him due to his faithful course, Jesus said "All authority has been given me in heavan and on earth. Matt 28:18. "The father Judges no one at all but he has commited all the judging to the son" John 5:22, and "I come in my FATHER'S NAME" jOHN 5:43. Plainly we must honour the son because he is acting totally on behalf of the father. To reject the son is to reject the Father. However it is all due to THE FATHER. Not sure what you mean by "temporary." Christ is King in the Kingdom of God. Forever. The Father tells us this. "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion." Ps.2:6 How long has Christ been King? "The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever." Ps.29:10 How long will Christ be King.? "The LORD is King forever and ever." Ps.10:16 Father speaking to the Son. "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom." Heb.1:8 This sounds permanent, not really a "temporary" situation. "O God" is a Title. Christ is "O God."
I offer a disturbing alternative to religious orthodoxies and supernatural fantasies: we don't need a thousand conflicting ideas of God to be good people. Goodness is already in our nature, and historically religions have done more than anyone else to provoke divisions, hostilities, misunderstandings, rivalries, vanities, pretensions, inquistions, persecutions, delusions and fear... all in the name of some underlying, unifying Deity. No deity worthy of respect would demand worship and condemn those who fail to fulfill robotic obedience and required self-loathing.
True religion has done much harm, but much good also. Name me a major animal, orphan, medical care charity that was not started & promoted by a Christian person? For example. Florence Nightingale left a comfortable middle-class life to give her life for the wounded & dying soldiers in Crimea. Her work & changes to hospital care is still with us to this day. ( you yourself may have benefitted from her!). Why did she do it? Because she was a Christian!

"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, HE HIMSELF likewise shared in the same, that through death HE might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Heb.1:14 The scripture you sent has to do with jugement, not about Christ taking away the "key," the power of death. Christ was not "given" the keys, He took them, from Sheol, and from Death. For this reason HE came, to destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus was tempted by Satan himself yet came out on top and defeated him. How??? Basically he ended up using this spiritual warfare method. If Jesus did it, it proves it can be used constantly. Call out the lie, call out the liar, use scripture.
Paul said "I bend my knees to the FATHER" ( Eph 3:14). He also introduced his letter by saying "Praise be to the GOD & FATHER of our Lord jesus Christ". ( a common intro in most of his letters.) So we know who Paul worshipped! It was The Father of Jesus Christ. Why? becaause as he said "The head of the Christ is God" ( 1 Cor 11:3). JW's are right to Worship God the Father while giving due reverence & obeisence to the Son. Jesus always directed worship, not to humself but to his Father! Amen
There are dozens of scripture where Christ is the object and recipient of worship, I haven't found the one where He rejects, redirects, or rebukes His worshippers to the Father, or to the "god" of Watchtower. Can you send the verses, where Christ is being worshiped, but redirects to "Jehovah.".?

Jesus wanted people to acknowledge his role as the one sent to save the world and only through him could mankind receive salvation. However, he made it clear that the ultimate and most profound 'worship' should be directed always to his Father. he told the woman at the well "The hour is coming when the true worshipers will worship the FATHER in spirit and truth ( John 4:23,24). He even told the devil that he should "worship God alone, and not worship the devil" ( Matt 4:10). Througout his ministry he directed alll the praise and adoration to hid heavanly father! "And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples." But He answered and said to them, "I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out." Lk.19:39 If the people did not praise Him, the very stones would, praise is ordained for HIM. Christ never redirected worship to the Father, it was ordained for HIM.

A question for 'trinitarians' ( including this lady!) If "Jesus went to heaven in his human body" as they believe! and he then "sat down at the right hand of God" ( as many scriptures testify!) then, since "there are three persons in one God" ( as they claim) are there 'two spirits in heaven & one human making up the 'trinity'? Jehovah's Witnesses don't have a monopoly on God's name. In English God's name is Jehovah and that's been true way before the Watchtower, Jehovah appears in the 1611 King James Bible and the Geneva Bible in the 1500's.

Not only did Jesus die on passover. it was the sabbath day also. Jesus did not do away with the commandments but came to fulfill them. In Revelations he says if you love me keep my commandments. Remembering the sabbath is one of them. Many Christians choose to follow the Roman catholic day of Sunday for worship. Not the 7th day which was instructed to us from the very beginning. Sabbath is not a burden but a delight.

'Proskeno' in greek, it can translate 'worship' or 'reverence' or obeisance' ( see 'Vines' expository dictionary of greek words ) Thus we can indeed 'worship Jesus' while still reserving our total and heartfelt adoration for God the Father, the creator of all things. John makes it clear that it is the FATHER who has 'entrusted' the son with Judging the world, we can 'value & estimate that the Father deserves supreme and total honour for originating and enpowering his Son to do Judging. We can also 'value' & estimate' that Jesus is worthy of special 'honour' as the one appointed by the Father to Judge the world. As Jesus said "All authority has been GIVEN me" ( Matt 28:18). Thus Honour in this case is RELATIVE. Thanks for encouraging me. Even though I’m still struggling to put groceries in the refrigerator. I STILL TRUST YOU LORD! Faith is trusting in God durning hard times. Faith is what is getting me through my hard situation. I’m still struggling to providing for my two autistic children since losing my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more hard on me. Every month I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. I’m so ashamed and overwhelmed. BUT because of my faith God shows up every month and provides. He has even sent strangers to help me, thank you Father. Even as I face homelessness with two young children seemingly every month! I know that God will provide abundantly. Thank you Jesus. I BELIEVE!

5:55. I’m gonna slightly disagree here. In Romans 10:4, the key to understanding this is ‘for righteousness’. Of course, nobody would argue that it’s ok to disobey the Ten Commandments. Revelation 4 is about Jehovah the Father of Jesus Christ. Revelation 5 is about Jesus the Son of Jehovah the Lamb of God. The Trinity is a Babylonian Roman Catholic Doctrine. It's simple, Jehovah is the Father and Jesus is the Son, the Holy Spirit is the power of God. I am not one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I just believe the Bible without preconceived Catholic Doctrines.

Do you tell people Jerusalem is wrong because there is no J in Hebrew? How about Jeremiah, James, John and even Elijah has the letter J in it too, woops! Jehovah is God's name in English and Jesus is the Son of God's name in English and Jerusalem is the holy city in English.

I offer a disturbing alternative to religious orthodoxies and supernatural fantasies: we don't need a thousand conflicting ideas of God to be good people. Goodness is already in our nature, and historically religions have done more than anyone else to provoke divisions, hostilities, misunderstandings, rivalries, vanities, pretensions, inquistions, persecutions, delusions and fear... all in the name of some underlying, unifying Deity. No deity worthy of respect would demand worship and condemn those who fail to fulfill robotic obedience and required self-loathing.
True religion has done much harm, but much good also. Name me a major animal, orphan, medical care charity that was not started & promoted by a Christian person? For example. Florence Nightingale left a comfortable middle-class life to give her life for the wounded & dying soldiers in Crimea. Her work & changes to hospital care is still with us to this day. ( you yourself may have benefitted from her!). Why did she do it? Because she was a Christian!
Jesus has the keys to death and hades .that means people can not even die without his permission !
Remember though the keys were GIVEN HIM by the Father! Jesus said "Just as the Father has life in Himself, he has GRANTED that the son should have life in himself". John 5:26. The scripture you sent has to do with jugement, not about Christ taking away the "key," the power of death.
Christ was not "given" the keys, He took them, from Sheol, and from Death.

Jesus was tempted by Satan himself yet came out on top and defeated him. How??? Basically he ended up using this spiritual warfare method. If Jesus did it, it proves it can be used constantly. Call out the lie, call out the liar, use scripture.
Paul said "I bend my knees to the FATHER" ( Eph 3:14). He also introduced his letter by saying "Praise be to the GOD & FATHER of our Lord jesus Christ". ( a common intro in most of his letters.) So we know who Paul worshipped! It was The Father of Jesus Christ. Why? becaause as he said "The head of the Christ is God" ( 1 Cor 11:3). JW's are right to Worship God the Father while giving due reverence & obeisence to the Son. Jesus always directed worship, not to humself but to his Father! Amen
They are one not two separate identities or persons in the trinity
There are dozens of scripture where Christ is the object and recipient of worship, I haven't found the one where He rejects, redirects, or rebukes His worshippers to the Father, or to the "god" of Watchtower.
Can you send the verses, where Christ is being worshiped, but redirects to "Jehovah.".?

Jesus wanted people to acknowledge his role as the one sent to save the world and only through him could mankind receive salvation. Thus any reference to 'worship' of Jesus would have been understood by him correctly. However, he made it clear that the ultimate and most profound 'worship' should be directed always to his Father. he told the woman at the well "The hour is coming when the true worshipers will worship the FATHER in spirit and truth ( John 4:23,24). He even told the devil that he should "worship God alone, and not worship the devil" ( Matt 4:10). Througout his ministry he directed alll the praise and adoration to hid heavanly father! We should 'worship' Jesus and thus be drawn through him to our heavanly father!

The reason He told the woman at the well that the hour was coming, when they would worship in spirit and in truth, is because the Father was going to send the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of Christ, when He was glorified.
Jesus was worshiped, and received it.

But He answered and said to them,
"I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out."

If the people did not praise Him, the very stones would, praise is ordained for HIM.
Christ never redirected worship to the Father, it was ordained for HIM.

'The new English Bible, 1962) This agrees with Paul's words at Phil 2:9-11 "God raised him to the heights and bestowed on him the name above all names that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heavan and on earth, and in the depths and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER". A question for 'trinitarians' ( including this lady!) 'Proskeno' in greek, it can translate 'worship' or 'reverence' or obeisance' ( see 'Vines' expository dictionary of greek words ) Thus we can indeed 'worship Jesus' while still reserving our total and heartfelt adoration for God the Father, the creator of all things. Thanks for encouraging me. Even though I’m still struggling to put groceries in the refrigerator. I STILL TRUST YOU LORD! Faith is trusting in God durning hard times. Faith is what is getting me through my hard situation. I’m still struggling to providing for my two autistic children since losing my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more hard on me. Every month I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. I’m so ashamed and overwhelmed. BUT because of my faith God shows up every month and provides. He has even sent strangers to help me, thank you Father. Even as I face homelessness with two young children seemingly every month!
I know that God will provide abundantly. Thank you Jesus. I BELIEVE!

5:55. I’m gonna slightly disagree here. In Romans 10:4, the key to understanding this is ‘for righteousness’. Of course, nobody would argue that it’s ok to disobey the Ten Commandments. This verse is saying we are not UNDER the law not necessarily do not FOLLOW the law.

Revelation 4 is about Jehovah the Father of Jesus Christ. Revelation 5 is about Jesus the Son of Jehovah the Lamb of God. The Trinity is a Babylonian Roman Catholic Doctrine. It's simple, Jehovah is the Father and Jesus is the Son, the Holy Spirit is the power of God. I am not one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I just believe the Bible without preconceived Catholic Doctrines.

Do you tell people Jerusalem is wrong because there is no J in Hebrew? How about Jeremiah, James, John and even Elijah has the letter J in it too, woops! Jehovah is God's name in English and Jesus is the Son of God's name in English and Jerusalem is the holy city in English.

Revelation 4 is about the Father Jehovah, the Lamb Jesus Christ takes the scroll from the one sitting on the throne in Revelation 5 who was the one sitting on the throne in Revelation 4, Jehovah God.
